we are now starting to compile lists of events/raffles/cabs etc.



its still not too late to borrow us your pinballs

We will bring some pins up to support you, not sure how many or what, speak to you in a few weeks and we will finalise it..

hijon has also pledged 4-5 pinballs and we have some others to be confirmed yet.



if we can get a total of 30 pinballs then it should make for the largest gathering of these in scotland :cool:



i believe the uks best female player, kate moss, might be able to help with the scoring software

If you go the whole hog and get the world ranking points you may even get some southerners..

we didnt start the ball running until it was :cool:



this is the second pinball open to have been held in scotland.



this year however will see some of the best video cabs and games in the uk

i am a gamer, both video and pinball, my only wish is to see these things in the pubs i drink in

we must keep these things alive for another generation, too many people play pinball on a phone wtf ??? yes you too can play real tables on a phone :confused: lets build the leagues and get this stuff back where it belongs, in the public domain.
 
just a small update.



we will be having a row of atari cabarets at this, misile command, milipede, and asteroids, just need to find a working battlezone to complete the line up. other cabs will include robotron, defender, stargate and more classics. we will also have naomi driving cabs, crazy taxi and initial d, and a very nice display of candy sit down cabs, loaded with some of the best cave shooters.



tickets can now be bought from the coachman hotel direct, we have already sold a few

not bad considering we havent really advertised it except on the forums. interest is growing daily,
 
Hi John you mentioned that you may be able to get a discount for a two night stay, do you have any prices yet ?
 
Looking forward to this now, especially once i've had a proper blast of some pinballs on Sunday at replay :-).
 
John's having some difficulty loggin in just now but just to let you guys/gals know everything is still up and running for this and a big thanks for all your help/assistance/pledges ;)

Does anyone know what time the open will start on Saturday? I might be able to make this now but I'd be driving up on Saturday morning and google tells me it's 5 and a half hours from my door to the Coachman. I'm guessing there are still tickets available?
 
Not 100% sure buddy, they are having a function on the friday night, we get access at 2am to start the job of loading it all up, we should have a few bodies for it though and fingers crossed everything is ready to go for about 10 am?.
 
That explains why there's no rooms left on the Friday night :) Sounds like it's going to be an early start on the Saturday then. Whats the best way to get tickets?

I'm sure you can contact the hotel directly an they will sort out some tickets buddy :-).

Nah- I thought I'd let him sweat a bit more, so told him he would need at least two huge hired generators at the back door!
 
The NBA Fastbreaks are all ready to make the journey as well as four more machines.
The Northern Lights Pinball Crew are happy to surpport the Scottish Open and are looking forward to making the trip up at the end of the month.
