Reality check

All my pins have absolutely zero scratches on the back.
What you guys up to? Who's responsible for all this cackhandedness, who's Spartacus?
The same person who stored my Fish Tales in a lake. Or maybe in the main ballroom of the Titanic, who knows...

They certainly are handy - I've reserved a couple for use with my drive-on vehicle ramps. On the pebbly road surface in the street, the ramps would skitter away as soon as the wheels made contact, these give the necessary adhesion to prevent that. The traditional remedy is a loop of old carpet around the lowest rung of each ramp, but even then the poor contact between the surface and the metal runners could see one slip while ascending the ramps.

Bottom protection - Available from Amazon, Screwfix, Halfords etc. works out around £2.50 each and you can pay it forward when you sell a Pin, perfect size too.

I've been using these since they were posted on the forum a while back, and like you I've also been including them when a pin leaves here. Very useful and just the right size.
