Predator pinball

OK, so with PRED finished are the UK buyers going to come together and organise shipping to the UK.

I thought I read that machines will be assembled in order of complete payment.

Who in UK/on here has bought one where are you located
I have sorted out my own shipping. It could be a nightmare in doing it via a group, like you have already said machines will be made in no particular order thus everyone could be waiting for a machine being made. Then there is who would store the machines while they where waiting on certain machines being made. Once they get shipped to our shores there will be the import duty which will be on all machines thus expensive. Then the ball ache of which port they land in and the logistics of getting them to the buyers.
Nightmare.

How much was the shipping for a single machine and who did you use?

I'd still prefer to do a group thing even if it means I get my machine later but I can see that it will add to the stress

Group shipping was on the original questionnaire. I said yes to that. I'm sure I was something crazy like production number 9! Didn't realise how early I was placing the order. Damn, it's coming up to 2 years now since that order.

It's finished the artwork has been like that since the start (I got flamed when I said arnie and crew looked naff lol)
Na mate, you were bang on, looks like crayon :D, think HP's motorcycle pin art was better, interesting machine though so I would not let that put me off, just an observation, them GLITD balls look the workz.

I'm loving the PF artwork, it's very 1990's videogame / data-east style.

Much nice than the photoshoped movie screen grabs that you get on 90% of modern pins

Oh boy, wish if hadn't watched the video. Had been wondering how to save up for the Metallica table as it was. Now I want this one too!

Might have to sell a kidney, gonad, left eye and my neo geo aes collection :)

That looks amazing. Love the movie now will sell my soul to get this pinball.

Get to the choppa!!!!

Cheers,

Johnny

What was the retail on these? anyone played one?, does it feel more like a B/W or Stern?

Awesome to see a completed project with a killer theme, hopefully they will do what the big boys do and run a second batch: LE, Super LE etc etc although I think 250 makes it pretty damn LE straight from the crate.

retail was £3k! (OK plus shipping and import duty)

The limited thing is stuck at 250 with no additional runs promised. Think this is to do with the license arrangements. Ironically thought there will probably be more of these in the UK than certain unlimited Sterns (I'm looking at you Iron Man!)

3K is a well decent price for a NIB, begs the question how a small company can produce a machine from scratch and knock it out for 3k when Stern want 6k for something similar (fair enough with JJ's offerings as these are no expense spared machines)

Yeah 3k is a cracking price for a rare machine only 250 produced means whoever has bought one won't be loosening any money for a good few years.

Amazing that a small company can make them for £3k on a limited run, when Stern don't even include flipper buttons on their pro models these days, so you need to spend £6.5-£7k to get all the features as the game was designed to have

Love, love, love the movie. Sad I didn't get in on this, much as 3 grand is hefty chunk of change it's less than new Sterns as others said! Can't wait to give it a play some time.

Great theme music, love the sound of Blain's minigun Painless in there on the orbit shots!

That's a good video they have put up. I don't think you new Predator owners are going to be disappointed ;)

Have you seen how much speed the ball picks up when it is coming back down one of the very long return paths, insanely quick!

**** I wish I was getting one :( A fair bit of hate on the artwork but I'm in to it. Can't wait to play one.

Glow balls were never there originally. A company producing them suggested trying them out. A bit of promotion work.
