Predator pinball

Looks like they ran out of ideas after the portraits (which are only ok)and shoved some exploding huts in. Could have done better imo, especially in 2013!

Problem is though that the movie is set in a jungle which means you have trees, vines and mud.

Probably look a lot better when the rest of the play field furniture is in place.

looks good for what is basically a hobby rather than a full blown production item

one prototype skinned torso....
Not too sure how it works, but guessing it swings somehow with the bumpers or ball movement

I actually like the exploding huts, not as keen on the big red skull, bit from the sounds of things it's all changeable at the moment

Love everything except the exploding huts and the red skull at the bottom. Cartoony style is ok for the characters for me, but not on an explosion. It looks like something from pokemon. Red skull should have been a fresh skinned human kill with dripping gore (brains, skin etc..) The rest i really like, the style of the characters is good and the foliage is done very well as is the predator himself. Cant wait to see it with the plastics on now!

Oh yes, Its going to be feckin awesome, Stop ya bitchin, otherwise I will get jonathan on the case, Don't take the playfield artwork to heart as most of the playfield will be hidden with plastics ,toys etc. and could even be changed ?
Lovin the translight.

According to Kevin at skit b this is the prototype, but could be the end product depending on feed back at a few shows and expos in next couple of months,I think for a small outfit it looks great.

And more bits.

Wish the artwork was a little more in keeping with these photos. I gather there will still be playfield tweaks especially with the bloody skull.

The guys at Skit B will be going through loads of feedback mainly after the show they will atend in April.
As well as all of us complaning about the playfield. If we arn't so sure about it then many others won't be. Lets wait and see how things progress.
One of the main things I am looking forward to is the fluro and UV lighting during the "Hunter" mode, sounds like it could be pretty awesome.

I'm really looking forward to seeing and playing it,ahhh to see them deliver it new in box will be great:)

An updated version of the mock up (from Pinside). Glad to see they've changed the skull. lettering on the inserts is not the final version but just to show what they will say. Skulls on the apron won't be there.

Looks great I reckon. So long as the mechanics and construction are reliable I reckon this pin is going to be a home run. I actually contacted the guy that made that mock up for VP and he sent me the file so I had a little game on Predator already!

It looks better every time I see it. There will be plenty more changes to the finished pin, and from what I am seeing they are all going in the right direction.

The playfield artwork is still a work in progress so that skull will almost definately be less odd along with a few other bits including adding the girl somewhere and making Arnie's shoulder look normal.

Ramps could be better but a lot still might change before final production, Its making appearances at a few shows in the U.S. and the guys will be taking on board all the feed back the machine gets. So lets hope they listen to all the pros and cons and produce a cracking machine. Its half way there with the theme for me.
I have even made a topper for a machine I don't even own as yet. (Pics to follow).
