Pinside is such an angry place.....

If Martin has prior knowledge to all this (which I'm not sure he does) then there was a time I could have made a claim as I emailed him asking if he had any knowledge of this. His reply was worrying in that he said he wasn't in a position to advise me. The political style answer wont go down well with me should I end up reading a story of his exposing this whole thing as that would mean he could of piped up and at least saved us UK buyers a whole load of grief.

Oh, if anyone wants to join me on a trip to Michigan. PM me and we can work out details. I told you, i'm NOT letting this go.

GRC are banned from Pinside. If you even mention the word GRC in any post, the topic gets locked. Had a lengthy discussion with the mods and Robin about this just the other week. The rules are set in stone now.

Basically those pussies can't handle the truth that's why. GRC are up there with the likes of HEP in terms of restorations, but they make awesome videos. Mike and Ray have great personalities on camera but they're not as brutal off camera. Little bit of acting going on here lol!

Because then you'll be out more money than you are already plus he's likely going to be arrested soon if he doesn't star refunding.

I'm sure the collective 10 of us would chip in towards a plane ticket though if you go there trying to get us all a refund, but until everything becomes clear (which is gonna be by Wednesday by all accounts) I'd hang fire

I said you should go over there and use brute force because you won't get your money just by going over there for a visit. Doesn't take anyone with half more brain capacity than yours to realize you'd have more of a chance if any!

No I mean it had a swear word in big letters on it, personally I'm more bothered about one of my friends who can't afford to lose the £3k. I actually have zero interest in Predator as a theme, I wasn't excited by the layout and the rules seemed OK but not awesome. I only bought it as an investment, it looks like I'll lose the investment, but I'm not overly bothered as other investments have done fine in the meantime.

I know mate, losing money like that must sting a lot, and you have my condolences. But even after all this time I'm still flabbergasted that people were willing to hand over thousands of pounds/dollars to some random bunch of guys tinkering with a home made Raspberry Pi pinball in their mum & dads garage, which has one of the biggest IP's in movie history. I mean WTF!

I just can't believe it. I can't!
 
I tell you what, I can't believe I actually went for it myself. The burn of desire for the pin, the sound, the nostalgia I would have felt, that's what cost me. My own desire and nothing else.

I remember in another thread here voicing caution to Dave Bishop when sending money to him, yet I did it myself through paypal and watched the allotted chargeback time wither before my very eyes.

Yes, huge lesson learned, but the loss won't be given up lightly by me or many others I suspect.
 
So is it deff game over for predator? I thought it had been passed to another manufacturer?

No one knows yet. Kevin is still stalling with emails saying 'everythings moving along' but there's an anonymous dude emailing everyone on pinside (me included) and telling some truly horrific stories about Fox ip lawyers actively trying to sue Kevin.

Sorry Paul but I think me & Pete were chill already. If I had known suggesting Kevin needs a good kicking and robbed for Predator parts would cause a backlash, I probably wouldn't have mentioned it.
