Virtual queuing mate. I'm queuing for TAF whilst watching A finals and eating slush. YumIG is intergalactic tournament but it’s so busy not sure if I can be ****d!
Another chance of getting on a stream, they are doing the finals on line for that too...
@Neil McRae - could you edit the above post to include a SPOILER ALERT, I was watching the stream this AM and yea... lol
It's all over for me. Had a great game on dipsey doodle yesterday. Couldn't get a flip today. And Shaq attack can do one too.
The $250 prize money is OK, though I might hold off turning professional for a little while.
Neil has a bye on the first round, and then bank choice. Come on Neil, bring back something shiney
Great presentation this year and really enjoyed the coverage but I do have a problem with them playing the commentary on the PA for the audience and being loud enough that the players can hear while they're playing. Apart from players finding it distracting it is very easy for the commentators to accidentally (or intentionally) give a player advice and strategy tips helping them decide what to shoot for next. I'm really surprised they did this and I thought being 'tutored' while playing was against the rules? I think doing the research on games is a big part of being the best and if everyone gets told what to shoot for by the booth this is a huge change.
At that level the players already know what they are going to do. Same thing happens at F1 and quite a few other sports. But I did wonder the same point when I first heard it.

I'm sure the average Pinburgh A Division finalist has very good game knowledge but there are still lots of gaps in their repertoires and the advantage that a knowledgeable player who has spent many hours studying, reading about and watching old games on youtube will immediately lose that advantage when some pundit loudly reveals the secrets to everyone playing. I don't like it myself. I love hearing it as a viewer though.
