Pinburgh 2018

I played abysmal yesterday - never got a great selection of games but even the.n I didn’t play well. Got in E but don’t deserve that s hopefully onwards and upwards today.

Are there any other sports that anyone can pitch up and attempt to take on the best players in the world? I can't think of anything.

Watching Pinburg makes me want to start playing and practicing and one day entering this event. Got a lot to learn;)

Was fairly sweating it. Was in 40th in round 9 and took 5 points which pushed me down to 53. Needed a really good final round to get back into the top 40. I took 9 points in the final round which was so very nearly a 12. Check out this epic battle we had on a really tough Whitewater (me unfortunately playing as P1)....

I had just activated 5x playfield, and drained from a miss to the lock shot (for a second MB). P2 then just pipped me in bonus, then P3 just pipped him in bonus. Was absolutely the best game I've ever lost. So tense!

Anyway, happiest moment ever when Neil texted me that the results were in and we've both qualified for finals. Going to be a fun day tomorrow!
 
It's all over for me. Had a great game on dipsey doodle yesterday. Couldn't get a flip today. And Shaq attack can do one too.

The $250 prize money is OK, though I might hold off turning professional for a little while.

Neil has a bye on the first round, and then bank choice. Come on Neil, bring back something shiney :)

Unlucky @Wizcat - was it head to head knockout or still groups?
 
Didn’t end up getting choice as we were last group -choice not good for me I think GB which is a hit or miss game, Monaco, bounty hunter and solar fire - solar fire looks like doomsday for me LOL only played GB out of the four.

Nah I didn’t play too good not helped by a scared bank of games of the three banks this was the least favoured. So sadly I’m out! Missed out on a few points by tilting and GB was a disaster - I’ve never really thought about how to play it in a tourney but will give it some thought - anyway excellent event I loved it played decent but next year
