Hi! Looks like we are recruiting for Bros, uh, hopefully saying you went to a bros concert is not a requirement of signing up here... Maybe we could start recruiting for Right Said Fred instead?

I hang out on pinside mostly but you guys have some great threads over here so thought I would sign up too. Lived in London for 5 years and 1 up in Middlesbrough..

Thanks @Nedreud your paragon restore is a work of art mate. Festi'flip in France is looking like its going to be the bomb. 320+ pins so far. A quiet weekend is a good weeked for getting things done.

Hello Pinheads,
Apologies as I've made a few posts without seeing the 'Noobie introduce myself' thread. Well, that's a noobie for you. Anyhow, I'm David Tucker ( or 'Tux' as my name for high scores on machines but don't worry, you won't see that much), aged 44, live in London as play fairly regularly in 'The Pipeline' as its near my work.
Already met a few of you at the 'UK Pinball Party', Pipeline competition and NLP @ Play Expo in Manchester at the weekend.
Same old story really, spend my youth with mates in pubs playing pinball, arcade machines etc. Life then gets boring as you have to get this thing called a job, this then leads to a wife, who then wants kids and you're back to being as skint as when you was a youth going round pubs playing pinball.
The people in this Pin community have all be so friendly, a great bunch so thank you all. As I live in London space is a premium so no machines yet but I'm trying to get the wife to agree to move for that all important male '40 something' man cave. My list is : TAF, TZ, W20, Fish Tales, BK2K to start. I am now a pure addict.
Cheers all, Tucks.

Welcome @Tucks! What is it with wives and pinball? My wife finally admitted she doesn't like it because she sees it as a childish waste of time. But then I reminded her that's why she liked me so much when we met at school aged 16 ;) I haven't grown up much since then. Have any of us? :p

Glad we helped feed your addiction at NLP on the weekend then:p

Afternoon All,

I'm Ben from Wirral. Born in the 80's and grew up playing pins in the 90's - STTNG etc.

After attending the NLP show (brilliant) at the weekend with my missus and little one (dressed as Princess Leia no less) the wife (boss) has agreed that we can get a pin next year for the house (got a shares ISA conveniently coming to an end). She enjoyed the show as much as I did! Mostly enjoy 90's Bally/Williams DMD machines but thoroughly enjoyed some Stern machines at the show (LOTR/Tron - though I know there is a lot of love for Iron Man, I couldn't click with it).

I'll be watching the 'for sale' thread with close interest soon!

Ben

Welcome David, that's a great starting list, can't go wrong with Bally WMS still loads of them about which shows how well they were made.

And welcome Ben, looks like the NLP is opening people's eyes up to what great fun pinball machines are :)

Hey there Ben, I remember seeing your missus and little Leia at the weekend too - hard to miss a baby with side-bunches [emoji2]

The market is currently flush with machines for sale, which may even put some people off advertising their games - so if there's something special you're after, stick up a 'wanted' thread. Dan

Ben, welcome to Pinball Info.
Your little daughter was so cute, No one else stood a chance of winning the kids Cospin comp.
Well done.

Welcome aboard David. Looks like we have similar taste in pins as I have 4 of your want list! [emoji3] Unfortunately not for sale right now.

Hello,
I'm Rick Carr, 48, happily married, two teenage daughters, (one showing promise but not with multi-balls - not a euphemism) and a newish dog. I have White Water (just managed 1.973 billion, five balls but I was only on 34 million after 3!) and Black Knight 2000, both in very good working order. I live in Leamington Spa and would like to meet / play against other enthusiasts, happy to travel or host, so if anyone is nearby or there are any up-coming events please let me know or pass on my details.
