If the ball doesn’t get a clean strike off the manual plunge, generally out of alignment is the issue.

Thanks for your feedback.
The plunger stays in the centre if rotated.
It does bow, which will need a wider screw to bend back and position again, but yes, I think it may be that.
It came with mirror blades.
Flying to London tomorrow morning so will work on it further in a week's time.
Enjiyed a couple of solid hours today and over 150 million! Not bad for me!!

Sometimes when mirror blades fitted, if installed over the playfield allignment brackets it puts things out of kilter.
