Metallica pro or premium?

Hi All,
Bringing up an old debate here.
I am after a Metálica in Spain and have only played the Limited Edition one at Pinball Republic.
Here is what I have found: pro's go for €7,5k and premiums €12,5k (roadcase).

This thread started 5-6 years ago when the difference was £2K.

What are your thoughts now with this updated price?

Thanks

It's only worth buying the non-pro. You won't ever get one. The End.

Was just reading this and hadn't remembered I'd started this thread way back when ! I got a prem in the end and I know it doesn't help all us prem owners saying we'll never sell but , well, I can't see me selling it ever 😀

When I fire up Metallica , 85% vol , drinking Peroni and get into those MBs …. cross rising, In Justice for All ramps getting combo’d - Crank it up ……
Only pin that gives me shivers down my spine.
It’s a work of art.
Lucky to have my one since NIB - totally pampered too.

I like your purple!

So I drove 3.5h each way and I didn't have a single game.
The pin had trouble ejecting the balls from the trough...

Sounds like negotiating terms. But honestly I'd just buy it, fix it and thank my lucky stars.

Yup. Take a ball out and place it in the shooter lane. Whack it about a bit and check other things work.

Guess it’s a bit late now though. 😉

We tried so many things, even took a board out the back glass. I was there for 2 hours...

common issue on SAM stern games. As above just stick a ball on the game.

Neil.

Got our MET Roadcase today. Looks great! Love the looks.
Works perfect except for the ball when I plunge sometimes hits the side under the ramp and doesn't get to the top, so no chance of skillshot. When the pin does it in ballsave works OK...but it's not the strength.

I would love to put the Roadcase decals on my Pro, not sure if you can buy them 🧐

make sure the playfield is in the right locked down position and is centered.

Thanks Neil, I think it is all centred and level. It's pretty solid, no wiggle on playfield.
Problem is on this junction, either the bowing or the gap between the metals.
The ball sits centered on plunger too.

Can clearly see the metal guide bowing, undo that one screw, bend it back the other way and put screw back in 👍IMG_8445.jpeg
