I haven't got lightning flippers on my BSD, FT & Popeye. They came like it and we have all agreed they can stay like it as they are hard enough, especially BSD!!!

BSD = Bullsh*t Drain .......... as we used to call it here. Awesome game, I miss it ...especially late at night :D Creepy as hell that music.

:D

@Benleigh250 Certainly hope so.

@astyy Nice pic. I actually hadn’t noticed that attention to detail on the flippers. Zen are doing great work making these tables widely available in digital form.

id really encourage you to put them on FT.

I thought maybe they were regular flippers with a lightning decal on, or illuminated ones or something like that. I'm glad you asked so I didn't have to. :)

Illuminated Flippers.........How there is an idea..........

I also thought the same at first!

I think more than a few from last Pinburgh let me find my book!

So does playing it with your eyes closed. Or playing one handed. But is was never designed to be played like that any more than it was to be played with lightning flippers.

Still, I am never going to win this argument with the guy who took the rubbers off the outlane posts on my Star Trek. I still can’t find them...

Couldn't agree more, the games weren't designed to use lightening flippers!

I just feel going this route alienates potential new people from wanting to get involved in tournaments... Making machines harder will not make newer players better, because its not like your going to get to play the machines over and over again. More likely they get knocked out early and don't bother coming back again!

It you plan on altering the machines from specified design it should be put to the vote of the competitors not a singular person

@Tilt_Birmingham you make a very valid point! I’m open to all types of competition but please allow rising stars and so called under dogs a chance to shine! Best to
Have a mix of games set at various difficulty levels to give all players a chance! Tournament director @Neil McRae I do hope you are taking note of our comments when considering the planning stage. I respect you’ve done this before please keep it fun but not a walk over for top players!

My kids said there was no way they would play BSD with smaller flippers and FT I’m pretty sure, all about having fun. I’m not to bothered but if the game was designed around normal flippers that’s good enough for me. Can you get bigger than normal size as I think I need some🤣

LOL - I put them in the coin box - if you can't find them I'll bring mine to John's tomorrow, I have no use for them ;)

Neil.

LOL, I've now had 5 offers of lightning flippers since Kirk moaned about them!

I actually think putting them on is a good idea - personally. On some games.
