Can you explain pump and dump now also?
😝
Does it mean you get a ticket and play games like Pinfest and the open qualifying?

Or do you only get one chance?

Guys I know I'm completely obsessed with competitive pinball, but I want you all to fully understand what Andy has done here.

He has had one go. ONE GO! Each attempt costs $50. Last year the highest number of entries was 11 from one person, $550. Raymond Davidson the world number 1, had 5 attempts last year to qualify. Andy has qualified in ONE GO!!! And he's currently the number 1 qualifier!!!!!!!

Keith Elwin has had one go, he's currently 38th, top 16 qualify. It's truly remarkable what Andy has done here, no matter what happens in the finals. But the wonderful thing is we are going to see lots more of @PUP on the stream now.

Well done mate

Do we have a new GOAT?! 😉 King @PUP

High stakes is not pump and dump format - it’s ticket format like the other comps.

Rob Byers played fantastic tactical game last night so happy for him to win a major.

the ticket format is very difficult I’m struggling with it. I’ve got a few decent games just all on different tickets! Spent last night just play testing games as the bank of games didnt give me an obvious choice but I’ve pinned it down to GZ, Mystery Castle, Diamond “hit the spinners” Lady, Dirty Harry and turtles.

the pace of the ball on these games is like nothing I’ve seen making it quite hard.

but the vibe here is fantastic so good to see a lot of folks not seen in a while and the organisation of this event is just amazing. I reckon its down about 50-75 people over INDISC 2020 though which is making the queues for the games move really quick! With Pinburgh no more this is easily the number one event in the world now.

Inhad dinner with Jim Belsito last night and couple of the other organisers and they cant get enough feedback on what they could do better and improve - it’s so refreshing to see how much they want to keep making this better and better.

today is going to be super busy with classics II and trying to get a decent ticket in the main.

watch out for Zach McCarthy - he put 2Bil on Godzilla - an absolutely amazing player and my money is on him - and if you look at previous INDISC’s the movement in tickets can be extreme it’s going to be amazing to watch as soke of the top players (including Andy) pull out their best games.

Neil.

And to note Kirk put in a mega ticket yesterday to put him top in B and now he’s down about 20 places - the bleed is brutal.

Yeah fair play to Kirk, that was a strong ticket. You just can't afford a stinker. That RoboCop game killed Andy on his best ticket.

But all 3 of you can string it together, we are rooting for you guys. You've done your recon, now it's time to make it stick, we believe in you!!!

The stream should be live at 5pm here I think, the hype is real!!!!

I'd like to know what pump and dump is still, as I hear it a lot.

And Bleed? Do you mean people moving down as more tickets get entered?

I’d expand AlanJ’s geographical region to most of the north of England.

but pump and dump is basically where you buy entries on typically best game format and you keep playing and playing until you get the scores you want. Some (wrongly) believe this is unfair but in my experience the good players no matter how much cash they spend are always at the top.

Ok so like the ticket system but it's less about consistency and your highest scores count regardless of which ticket
