I’m at the end of my tether with this one.
In a nutshell, I’m fortunate enough to be in possession of two corvette machines. One working. One not.
I’ve tried all of my boards in the working machine and they’re all good.
The only thing that stops the engine passing test is my magnet and clamp.
If I run an engine test with my magnet installed, the solenoids pull to the left, then when the numbers reach a certain point it snaps to the right and fails.
We can rule out any boards, Hall effect sensor, optos etc…
I’ve tried rotating the magnet 180, as I’m aware its polarity is relevant. No different.
The magnet and clamp are new from Pinball Spare parts Australia.
How can a magnet cause this fault.
Any pearls of wisdom greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Gaz
