Finally, Pulp Fiction

Thanks for showing it off :) I think they are amazing material and the color of the print really stands out. Hoping to have my XMEN and MET Remastered covers available soon. Thanks again for the positive feedback!

Available for purchase, PM for more details. Cheers.
No problem, currently in use on my Lebowski until Pulp turns up.

Sorry but you're deluded if you think these are coming by Christmas.

You think the topper would be one of the easiest to make.Looks great but essentially just a turntable with nice sculpts. When did they start tooling for this? How did the supplier make the wrong sizes, surely they had a template / blueprint

Couple of things there which are odd, he heard the topper wasn’t right? Heard?? As part of the team, how is that possible to be out of the loop.

Secondly he thought about cancelling his own order for the game??

Very odd and non thoughtful post there. Not really what you’d expect from a senior member of that team.
If the topper figures were incorrect then someone is going to have to make 2000 new ones and get stung on the incorrect models. Why didn’t they have a sample to size check? Surley the tooling was set up from the factory to the correct size? No one bothered to check?

I would bet that there’s an argument going on and those figures won’t be made any time soon. If I were the manufacturer of those i wouldn’t want to be stuck with thousands of unwanted parts and I’d certainly be fighting my case as to who’s responsible for the cock up.

6 months to ship at best

When we were there a couple of weeks ago I dont think they had started making the toppers yet and were waiting for the corrected part to arrive.

Sod the LE buyers, let's get them regular versions shipped! 😄

Phil will make everyone pay more for that as he'll have to ship 2 containers instead of one.

Seems to be the same case for other countries as well as was loads of boxed SE machines waiting to go, inc marked for Europe and Germany in the factory.

Google suggests around three weeks for Chicago-UK, anyone know how payment for the balance works, do we pay Phil before the games ship from the US, or when they arrive in the UK?

Depends if PH uses CIF or FOB.
If the former then payment probably required when it lands.
Pretty sure PH needs to pay CGC before they can leave the factory.

CIF and FOB I've only seen mentioned when I imported a car from Japan years ago, had nothing to do with when you paid though.

FOB was Free on Board which meant free delivery to the boat at the shippers side, i.e. didn't include the boat and onward travel costs.

CIF can't remember what it stood for but it was the fully shipped and insured priced to the destination port.

CIF is cost, insurance and freight

I’ve never imported anything but still had to learn all of this stuff for an exam on indirect taxes (including thrilling highlights such as customs charges and VAT)
