Ebay Auctions 2014

Can't spell for toffee but can use a PC and eBay. Makes you wonder about where humanity will be in 40 years time. ;)

I would suspect that was a set up. That shows such poor spelling that it has to be made up or else how can they use a computer to find ebay and a picture.

IJ is a great looking machine with a fairly large appeal. I don't think it has the soul of other machines, it rarely builds my excitement like TAF does but I think a top quality IJ can be worth £3.5 to a boutique buyer. £2.5 seems to get a playing machine with cab fade, if you don't mind wear so long as it plays then for £200 for the missing bits in working condition, that could be still cost someone £1500 and they get a so-so machine. Redecal, playfield, missing plastic and bling will not pay back when someone comes to sell it.

I guess ultimately it comes down to what you plan to do with it.

I've probably spent £300 on my R&B so far and i'll probably spend another £200 before i've done all I can with it. So with the cost of the machine that's around £1300, which is over the odds for a R&B.

But much like Luke I have no plans to sell and I love the machine so for me it's been a chance to gradually repair and work on a Pin, gaining experience as I go. If it does ever get sold (which isn't that likely) then i'll happily pass it on knowing that I might not get what i've invested. But then on the other hand i'll have had 'x' years of enjoyment in playing and working on it.

I like your approach. Have a similar ethos... Never make a good stockbroker! Hobbies usually require money in and usually you get enjoyment back out in return. Usually.

Well in my opinion I think 3k for a minty IJ is fine.
IJ is a cracking game and I'd love another.
Look at it this way. People ask upwards of 5k for mint MM AFM and TaF which imo are not any better. I'd have IJ over any of them. Just my opinion tho lol
Yup, and people ask upwards of 5k for a Stern, I rest my case ;)

Come on fellas, I used up my three chances to make an offer on the £1500 generic broken fruity from the epsilons, some of you guys need to put offers in. I see 8 watchers so there's definitely people interested in it. Let's humiliate them for sport

Yeah knowing my luck they'd accept my £50 offer as they've run out of moonshine!!!:)

This was listed/sold by Griffith on ebay months back, has been used as a scam since, this is has the hallmarks of another scam.

Damn that's a good price for the lw3 set. Almost worth buying at that price even tho I don't have a lw3 :D

Third time this week. Guess it's the same person hacking ebay accounts.

You'd think they'd at least try a different machine - always seems to be MM.
