Ahh Dan, now you'll never know........

OK, he's trying to low ball by suggesting legally he can't sell without a PAT test etc but he might just be willing to take it anyway if the price is low enough.... It's like the ones you see with someone offering a cash price of 50% less than the going rate because they can "collect today"

No harm in playing hardball with a 'wadge of cash and take it away today' offer.

Depends on your viewpoint.
Situation 1 - you see an underpriced pin and snap it up
Situation 2 - you see a pin sold by someone who doesn't know what they have and really low ball them and flip the pin
Situation 3 - you start driving up to old women's houses and offer to tarmac their driveway for £5000

I'm happy about personally doing one of these but that just me. Others may be cool with all three,

For myself I hate seeing people on ebay asking if someone will take £300 for their TAF. Others will call it smart business.

John could you do me a quote on some tarmac. Cheers. ;)

I've always found that not taking the ****, being honest and making a deal where everyone gets something form it, is always the best.

Omg @mark9 wish i'd known he was a reputable seller/that you knew him as would have deffo been interested :( See you at the NLP Expo if you are going again this year :)

@Busterbulldog first dibs if you decide to sell :)

Well only met him once when buying the PDI glass! Not sure why he didn't sell the machine on here!??

Yes I'll be at NLP, going for the full weekend and bringing some machines along this year.

Ah yes know who you mean - he was looking for a RFM not so long ago so he either got one and then got a better one so decided to sell one and didn't want it to look like he was flipping so chose ebay?

I guess the problem is there are more chancers/twats around than we think.

When I bought the WW, someone had offered 20 quid.

Aha...never thought of that, maybe your right. In which case I didn't play it after all....hope it all works out OK then.

I just thought he must have got bored of it really quickly.

It has looking at it...... the three posts stopping the ball returning to the shooter lane for one.

BID with confidence from a 100% feedback seller with lots of pinball sales. All very happy customers as you can see if you look at my sales feedback.

Yep. Do yourself a favour and go to Pinballowners.com, see whats for sale, buy a machine, charge yrself an extra few hundred on top, get it home, realise its f*cked........... but at least you have cut out the middle man and only have yrself to blame ;);)

Of course I have probably dreamt all this. Buy with confidence.

Standard that Daz, Chris' has the same.

Not a single picture taken with the playfield lights off so you can see the artwork properly.....

It proper annoys me that, also when he refers to the machines as... Here is 'my' blah blah machine as if he's owned it for ages. Also, described as seller refurbished when he's openly admitted to me to knowing virtually f*ck-all about doing anything but giving them a wipe over.

If and when I decide to sell or swap I will put it on here. Its a very nice machine,he sold it as he has bought another with silk screened graphics and some fancy pants operating system .

Excellent looking Bally FUTURE SPA on eBay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bally-1979-Future-Spa-Pinball-Machine-/251638408948

Seller says he bought it to distract his kids off electronic devices and failed! Also supposedly originally from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Looks to be in very good condition. I'd be tempted to part with £900 for it if I had any money!

Saw that last night. Definately a beaut. Love the backglass on it but still a bit expensive I think.

Yeah... I noticed that too, @Carl Spiby. It looks like a badly damaged bit of chipboard. Wonder if the bottom got recovered at some point but just by overlaying what was there rather than fitting a new bottom properly? Shame if it was - would very much detract from an otherwise excellent example.

Well as expected the Nell Log Assembly has already climbed in price. Up to £40 now with 8 hours to go. Even at that price it's £60 with shipping so it's fair to say i'm out of the bidding on that, especially as I could have the spring I need made for less than that.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151400204273?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Guess it shows just how hard those things are to come by. I have other things with a higher priority right now but i'll return to focus on the Nell Assembly at some point i'm sure. :-)

That cab looks incredibly mint, assuming it's not a decal. Can't spot even a scratch on the pf either, but then there are no closeups. I hope whoever paid 5 grand for it went and had a look first. :)

Part of me is glad it's in the US otherwise I'd have been tempted to upgrade!

£87 plus £17 delivery that Nell mech went for in the end. When you passed at £40, I thought about grabbing it myself just in case, for future needs, safe in the knowledge I could always resell it. The hammer came down at past 1am my time, but I already gave up with an hour to go when it was already about seventy quid. Holy crap.

I may buy another R&B in the future if I ever get my dream house with massive games basement - but I will be checking that bit first.

Yeah Dan, I noticed it had gone to a pretty high price. I could have probably grabbed it but to be honest i'm more inclined to spend my cash on replacement ramps and stuff which actually affects the gameplay than a toy which really doesn't bring much to the game.

Fixing up the Nell Assembly is still on my jobs list but it's a long way down. I think all the parts you sourced Dan are fine - it's just the spring i'm missing and if i'm really that desperate I can spend £50 having a spring custom made. As it is right now i'm in now rush - the Pin is in about 50 gazillion pieces anyway whilst I do the cabinet refurb so it's not like I can play it anyway.
