Dialed In! On the way!

I got the call from Hadfields when they were 5 mins away from delivering. Which was nice but could have been more warning, I was out on the sauce last night :) All set up and ready now.

Lucky to get 5 minutes, driver is outside my house now and girlfriend is 15 minutes away, he didn't ring till he got there.

Hey Dave, surely there are load of pics of Dialed in elsewhere :)

But i'll take a few :)

Well mine has arrived but wouldn't go through side gate to the pinshack so now its just dumped in the hall of the house WTF!!!!

You right Spadge, I can wait until tomorrow when mine arrives!

Sitting in the hallway! I would be taking the fence down to get it through!

Is the box wider that a STERN box!? I might be having trouble if so!

It's pretty close, it wouldn't go in the room I had planned for it. I had to take a tom back board off/rotate it to get that in.

Mine is coming by way of Martin by special request. He tells me that I should expect him Monday. I believe he's also picking up one other?

So I have come home to this!!

Which would of went through the side gate if hadfields had tried a little harder(they couldn't wait to get away) - so I have had to slide it into lounge and unbox it to be greeted by this falling out when I removed the carton

IMG_2583.JPG

looks like part of a playfield plastic - and also noted this on the back

IMG_2585.JPG
not sure if scratched or not painted yet

and now I am stuck with it here until I can get some serious muscle to lift it over 4 thresholds !!!

At least its here and in one piece(well nearly!!)

That plastic looks from the little guy who you hit to charge the phone, moves left and right 2/3 up the playfield. They are only rubber hand held on.

I know of another member who had broken lighting bolts ⚡️ on opening his DI.. hope this isnt the case all round!

The plastic lightening bolt is only cosmetic and JJP will send me some to send out.

Thanks Phil - will let you know once I get it into the pinshack and get it set up. Do you just need photos of any damaged bits ?

Cheers

just the plastic thing? no...

I think the other issue is just not spray painted..

Anyone else having issues with the ball flying off the wireform return to the left flipper area? I know the game is new and I like mine steep but if it's a fast shot it will fly off and go straight out of play. Also there's a ball hang up behind Bob the Builder on the left ramp which has happened 3 times.

Enjoying the gameplay the more I've played but not sure the clearcoat is going to hold up

What you seeing Nick? Dimpling, ghosting, ball tracks?

Looks to be scratching right in front of the flippers, I polished and checked the balls before I put them in and I've had them out and checked them and cleaned them again, they look fine. I'll re-wax the playfield tomorrow and see what it looks like, It will probably just all bed in over time

Can someone send me pictures of what their power button looks like inside the cabinet, mine arrived not inside it’s hole but I can’t work out how to get it in there and make it stay... cheers

This was happening a lot on the Buffalo Pinball unboxing stream.
