CPR Fish Tales Playfield - Looking for help from an owner

Hello,

Has anyone on here used a Classic Playfield Reproduction playfield in their Fish Tales?

I have just bought one and it got delivered today. It looks amazing, but the holes and the artwork look to me to be slightly off. I have gone back to the company to check and looking at their one on the website, mine looks a little more out.

Is there someone who has one that could help me out with some pictures or help?

That’s not good enough mate. Registration is sometimes a teeny bit off but because of how much it is off the inserts don’t line up.

I didn’t even notice the inserts, thanks for the heads up!

Looks like this will be going back, unless someone can tell me this is how they are.

Very disappointing, as I was told that CPR was the best. I have e-mailed them, so let’s see what they come back with.

yeah, that has to go back mate. I'm sure that cost about a grand once it arrives at your door. . . . it's a lot of money and needs to be perfect.

Yes not as far out as yours, what do your inserts feel like? The first one I had where not level. This one is flat smooth and still is after a year of settling.

Yeah, the ones at the top are not flat.

No, it was sold as full price, so I assume gold.

Just a load of bloody hassle sending it back!

They don’t do that anymore as digital print now.

Just seen this. The first person I thought of was @M4carp as I remember the issues you had with your CPR playfield.

I think with all repro playfields, both CPR and Mirco, they will never be perfect. I think it’s a fine line as to what is acceptable and what is not. IMO I’d say this one goes past what I would consider acceptable.

Have they got back to you yet?

They will probably offer you a discount if they think it’s not acceptable, my first one was blurry as well as other things.

Yeah, that is really noticeable.

I am starting to think I got a sloppy second, as they are out of stock on the website!
