Concert/gig attending thread.....

There is a artist presale on 11th - not sure how that is going to work on the mailer for both Ozzy and Black Sabbath and had nothing

Saw Cyndi Lauper at Glasgow last night. Was further back than I would have liked but enjoyed it all the same.
This is apparently her last ever tour so glad I got to go. 😁

Reactions: JT.
I keep seeing £400 for golden circle for sabbath 😱 hope that’s incorrect but suspect it’s right. Now to add on booking fees and dynamic pricing.

There’s now also a download presale and the o2 presale has been moved forward.

Plus after a quick look there appears to be zero accommodation left in Birmingham that night.

Ugh. As well as the max six tickets per household rule they’ve just published a maximum of just two tickets per credit card/order.

Pretty much makes it impossible to go as a family group. I don’t fancy my chances of getting two tickets and then trying to get another two. 😢

Yeah I saw the leaked prices and thought the 400 quid ones are what folks will want. Though of course when you can get em crumble and but the less desirable ones because your here now and it's a once in a lifetime thing etc.
I bet the (not really) 'cheap seats' are miles away too.. because Sharon will want to milk it as much as possible.
Really wish Ticketmaster would just go bust..legalized touts that they are

It is for charity so not really milking anything

Be at a gig which will make history and all the dosh goes to charity, can't really complain at that..

Didn’t get a code from Ozzy’s newsletter but one came through via Metallica this morning.

They’ve confirmed a limit of 2 tickets per household so I’m out as it would cause too many issues about who not to take.

Today’s presale code is BTTB25

I’d assume it’s the same for all the bands.

Good luck to the people trying to secure them. Looks like a potentially awesome gig but cost/accommodation/travel/limit pretty much rules me out.

It’ll be a generic code.
You might have to link it to Metallica on the artist presale bit but I doubt it.

It’ll be all over the music forums by now. Good luck!

Managed to blag 2 standing for £660. It’s for charity so I don’t feel too bad.

There was no code needed, I just clicked the link on the Metallica website. I figured it would be a bit more hidden than that but hey ho!

I might try for golden circle tickets tomorrow and resell these if successful.

You were lucky. I weakened and tried.

By the time I git through the only tickets left were standing but with a coach from Manchester 😂

Oh well…

That was weird. I had to select a coach from London but when I went to pay it was £100 extra for the coach. I didn’t select it and I just got the tickets themselves seemingly.

My tickets say coach but there is no travel element.

If I get golden circle tomorrow you can have my standing ones.

Call me a sceptic, but seen most places quoting its only the profits that are going to charity, will be interesting to see how much out of the 3 to 4 hundred quid ticket prices actually ends up going to charity.

Ok. Glad to hear it wasn’t dynamic pricing as that whole deal sucks.

For 3k I’d want a Sabbath pin thrown in as well.

Off to see a band tonight for £18. Far more my price level
