@Colywobbles just been browsing logo's; how viable/expensive would the below be with the individual letters cut from the mirrored stuff then the guitar in red, white, blue ?

The Amazing Mr Wobbles sent me these this week. I'm in progress with a Diner refurb and the speaker grilles were completely shot. Faded orange lettering and peeling paint. So I thought I would get Col to make up some plastics for me to replace, instead of trying to attempt some dodgy repaint. I couldn't be more pleased. I just need to get the satin black out and some 3M double sided tape to complete. A range of colours came through the post and they also make fantastic key fobs.

I'm sure Col will be happy to take your orders!

Big thanks, Col.

As with all my signs the major dictator here is the size of Bertha. She is physically huge in every dimension but the maximum cut is 900 x 600.
However this can be circumnavigated in a few ways like Gonzo’s big sign which was originally going to be 2m long but meant when he had a visitor like Dolly in it would cut off the end of the sign and lose all the impact so it was amended accordingly.
Now the Who sign could be cut in pieces to make as large as you like only limited by the largest piece in this case the H.
But and it’s a big BUT! Cost of material spirals out of control and I’m not sure you want to go that far.
Cut out of 3mm ply would be around £20 in material at a rough guess but could you be ****d to sand and paint it.
Cut out of Acrylic and mirror at that size would be vastly more but if you want me to price it up I will.
Cheapest one piece signs where I can inlay other colours/finishes would be less than 400 x 300.
Next step up are ones 600 x 400
Then way more cost are ones 900 x 600
Then it’s the free cut size where you will have to typeface them up on your wall with a suitable background.
I’m making a little 400 x 400 one up today as a proto I’ll post a few pics.

Thanks mate, I was thinking freecut as the wall is already white.I’d arrange each letter and guitar as per the design using the super strong 3M stuff directly onto the wall.
This would be instead of a mirror on the wall facing towards the pins, so ideally I’d like it to be pretty large although if we’re talking silly expensive then maybe just a smaller one collated with some of your other reflective signage pieces. Cheers

For all out impact the gloss black one kinda does it for me. However if it’s to be used as a mirror then either cut in mirror or go with intergtated one with gloss black frame.
Ignore the scratches on the mirror as I’m really low on the stuff and don’t want to peel the film off.

Aww man they all look class! Thank you
Think you’re right about the black gloss mate for where I need it,but they all look awesome tbh.

I’ve ordered some sheets up as I am low on silver HIPs
Just got to re format for efficiency to see how much material will be used on anything larger than 600 x 600

My biggest plastic set to date for Transformers.
This was one hell of a challenge and took me best part of the week to complete.
Comprising all the plastics and ramp enhancements too, pics are in and I’m told it’s looks incredible in the flesh.
