Anyone been to the pinball museum in Brussels (Auderghem) ?
Is it worth going?
Anything to do in the area?
Thanks

Ditto.Yes can’t wait.
I'm driving through Belgium later in the year, so was wondering if it was worth stopping for a day there and checking out the place.
According to trip adviser the things to do are "A forest" so it is not the most exciting part of Brussels
I'm wondering it if is better to stay somewhere else near buy and just visit the pinball for say an evening. I have no idea, never been to that area before![]()
It just keeps on getting better. For a relatively cheap but filling eat, Amadeo is a famous rib restaurant (there are a few around Belgium). They serve unlimited spare ribs along with a baked potato with a delicious curry butter for about 25€ and they can accommodate big groups if you book in advance.
The Brussels pinball museum is aptly named. Most of the games switched off and not working, those that did were filthy and with faults, weak flippers etc. Imho, not worth the visit for the pinball gameplay but the bar was pretty good, only cos there was 25 of us there. We had a good singsong with the valve amp and a Bluetooth phone. Plus a traditional jukebox. Staff were friendly but I wish the main maintenance guy would ditch the weed and crack on with some repairs.
Overall though another brilliant uk pinballers trip abroad and we’re sad to be first to leave today, a day earlier than the rest of the group.
Roll on 26 and another trip to wherever (Prague has been mentioned).
Just don't go on Pablo's tour - you may recognise some of the 1-star reviewers https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attract...nd_Ghent_Day_Trip_from_Brussels-Brussels.htmlComic Sans is definitely worth a visit. They have another larger bar in Ghent with 10 machines, so you can take a trip there as well.![]()
I've actually looked at their menu/flyer which accidentally dropped in my bag.Comic Sans is definitely worth a visit. They have another larger bar in Ghent with 10 machines, so you can take a trip there as well.![]()
