Ok perfect, so is there any risk of changing the pin configuration?Looks like you are set to 206v which would explain too much power

WPC(89) transformer wiring anomaly
Hi So I recently bought one of @myPinballs's Mod Power Expander boards, and set about installing it in my TAF yesterday - but got stuck. Essentially, the instructions for the mod show a different plug wiring configuration to what I have. Once I realised this I obviously aborted the install...www.pinballinfo.com
As this was from Germany (and I think Poland) it would explain the wrong setting.
@myPinballs can you confirm I just need to adjust this to 230v and happy days?
Scott
In my defence this was sat in Flip Out from London Pinball so I wouldn't have thought to check the voltage on something thats already in the UK. Something new to check on older pins. I don't plan on having many tbh. This wasn't intended as a 'project' pin but as most people say to me I seem to have a knack of finding problems with any pins I own!Oh my, here we go again!Always and i mean always check your line plug settings before doing anything else!! Should really be job one.
You are actually set to 218vac which isnt great when you are probably getting over 240vac out at the plug in your house. UK is in spec for 230vac at 240 ish so we are higher already on the 230 setting.
Simple to fix, just move your white wire from the current position 4 to position 7, but please triple check it before you plug it back in! Maybe post a pic of what you've changed here before plugging back in.

Showcase of the pin so far!
Not passing any blame here! Just saying It was in the UK so wouldn't have gone to check things like this... tbf I would have assumed Europe was on the same voltage?Remember when I said I wouldn't recommend any WPC pins to anyone - because of this sort of mess.
but lets be really clear, it was London Pinball transaction and nothing to do with Flip Out!
Black looks better, I wouldn’t want the edge of the glass to be in direct contact with metal, surely softer plastic is for a reason?I used the down time to switch the 'H' channel plastic out with a nice metal chrome version.
(FYI plastic which holds the glass at the top)
Holes didn't align so had to make new ones. Bit of hassle but all good.

I mean side rails are metal you could argue the exact same thing?Black looks better, I wouldn’t want the edge of the glass to be in direct contact with metal, surely softer plastic is for a reason?
Thanks got it out in the end. This is the official molex tool for the connector removal. Any cheap Chinese ‘compatible’ crap isn’t worth the hassle

Yes pinball heaven sells one it's £40 I needed it for STTNG IL find the linkThe pin extraction tool I bought is junk. Can any recommend a good tool?
Although just saw it didn't resolve thisYes pinball heaven sells one it's £40 I needed it for STTNG IL find the link
Just for you Andy I'll add a strip of rubber I know how you love protection. The glass doesn’t touch the side railsIt slides into a plastic channel under the side rail.
And the lock down bar has foam to avoid glass on metal contact.
What pitch did you go with? I tried all the way to 6.8 and it didn't resolve it. I may just adjust it now that the flippers are slighly weaker. Might be enough. This is going to be stupid, but it's not to do with level, my STTNG had a strange problem the left upkicker sometimes would through the ball out to hard causing it to bounce out the cannon, tried all sorts to troubleshoot this issue turned out adjusting the level fixed it
It wasn't a pitch issue in the sense of it high more left and right I had it set to 6.7 via a mobile app, il dig out out the app, it was the level on the left front and back higher or lower can't remember whichWhat pitch did you go with? It’s not for me, just thought it was daft having the weakest part of the glass up against metal when every pin I’ve ever seen has it surrounded by plastic. If youre happy with it then leave itJust for you Andy I'll add a strip of rubber I know how you love protection.
It's on Android called pinball leveler it's old. It has a left right up down.It wasn't a pitch issue in the sense of it high more left and right I had it set to 6.7 via a mobile app, il dig out out the app, it was the level on the left front and back higher or lower can't remember which
I use a tool I got in Maplin was part of a kit for working on through hole PCBs. I would imagine a good grip screwdriver with the right sized allen head bit on it would work just as goodThanks got it out in the end.
Shame it didn't resolve my issues.
