Should be a hex post which a bolt screws into the topAce stuff btw. Someone has lost the middle screw for it though. Needs some mega long screw by the looks of it!
That's definitely missing. I also seem to be missing a hex post for the left ramp.Should be a hex post which a bolt screws into the top
You need to ask someone that still has a bsd I can’t remember. Pretty sure all the ramps and the moulded plastics are all supported by hex posts of varying sizesThat's definitely missing. I also seem to be missing a hex post for the left ramp.
The castle lock ramp seems to be having issues too. Balls will sometimes fly off the ramp. Should this have a hex post too to raise it higher or does it go straight onto the centre plastic.
I'd love to get some new plastics and a playfield. But that's looking real expensive.
Yes they are. I can take pics in the morning. I'm still waiting to fit lights in that roomYou need to ask someone that still has a bsd I can’t remember. Pretty sure all the ramps and the moulded plastics are all supported by hex posts of varying sizes

Thanks for this. I'll get some pictures of some of the ramps I need clarification on. I'd love to replace the ramps as they are worn but no one stocks any plastic ramps!I tried to get a pic of the hex post for you. I think it's actually cylindrical, very hard to get access to it... and I see I have a ball trapped in there again! But that definitely solidifies the whole ramp. Without it screwed down it's free to flap around.
I'm going out shortly and will probably put this back together when I get back, so here's pics of all the ramp connections I can see...Thanks for this. Might get some new decal stickers at least for them.
No joy. I think the ramp not being bolted in further up is causing ramp vibration. Will check on this when my hex spacer arrives. For the ball exiting at the sling and draining. Sometimes you have to slide it over slightly, you can see there's room to move it.
Saw one on there, did they have a full set?Marco had a couple of ramps for this also a few weeks ago.
Yeah I did the rubbers recently. Got to lift the ramps again to fit some cliffy protectors...Ministry of Pinball have a few bits and bobs including a full plastics set https://www.ministryofpinball.com/en/dracula-plastic-set.html
Yes you're right, mine does seem to be missing a hex post. I'll have to replace it when I get around to a full re-rubber....that's a daunting task on this machine!

Question:
These Williams lightning bolt flippers are shorter than standard. Does anyone know if you need to buy specific flipper rubbers for them vs. standard flipper rubbers?
Amazing work!
Cheers, yes it was a tip from Pinball Ninja (aka Shaggy from This Old Pinball aka Clay)Can I ask did you paint your red font? It looks great if you did.
Thanks I'm in two minds to fix what I have vs. decal. Did you ever remove the playfield, was it hard?Cheers, yes it was a tip from Pinball Ninja (aka Shaggy from This Old Pinball aka Clay)
From memory it's airbrush paint which is slightly translucent so it's more forgiven when touching up detailed areas.
I just used two sized brushes one for the fine detail and another for the broad strokes. You'll want a brush that can hold paint and give you a nice even stroke.
There's a picture of the paint in the album was bought off Amazon (currently unavailable). If you get close you can see some of the strokes but certainly much better than a faded cab.
