Your probably correct, but did you guys really believe it was £225k.I think listing it at a silly price was stupid if I was a potential buyer I would have just scrolled on at that price if you had listed it at £19000 then you may have received some positive pm s but you have to look at the bigger picture you could probably buy a used jaws premium and Godzilla for the price of one James Bond le 60th
Well i had to see what I was up against Grizz..I think your utterly confusing 2nd sale posting blew it for you - Quite literally as the game went from NIB to plugged in and fried !?! I’m still not clear on it.
Congrats on possibly the maddest for sale listing of 2024 though
No need it am Neil McraeThink you should reach out to Neil Armstrong. Believe he bought two at full UK RRP. He might want the US version too
No i didn't fry the machine.Super confused. Did you actually fry the machine as per the second listing or was that all misunderstood humour ?
Ok that’s good. But nuts it’s taken till now to clarify that .No i didn't fry the machine.
The fist post was not bonkers @CHRIS B PINBALLS, everyone knows that every single for sale thread goes the way of price listed followed by direct messages.
It was a bit of fun playing with that fact! £225,000 was as bonkers as £29,997. Now it's at £19,000 it could be considered sensible, i can no longer be accused of what is still going to happen by interested parties, so what's the difference. Semantics!
Exactly this! The point of putting a price on a sale thread is two fold - it gives an indication of the ballpark value the seller is hoping to achieve, and provides a price which if offered would be accepted no questions asked. Yes, you're correct that the public sale price often leads to lower offers in private, but it helps potential buyers to gauge how closely the price they would be willing to pay aligns with the price the seller wants, and also provides transparency that if you want it enough to offer the asking price then you won't be outbid.
For example, if I wanted a machine and thought it was worth around £8k, and one came up at £8k I'd just buy it. If one came up at £9k I'd make an offer. If one came up at £11k I wouldn't bother.

You are going down the same route as posts 1 and 2. You are just digging yourself into a hole with weird humor that at best is confusing, otherwise just unfunny and not helping the sale, (if it is an actual sale).I was not circumnavigating and rules in my mind. Seems consensus disagrees.
Your 3 post are bonkers and any potential buyer must now be very confused no price is it blown up or not will it just turn on and play no one has a clue
As for rare it’s not I suspect every distributor will have them in stock as no one wants the game at anything near rrp electrocoin have 4 in stock at Hadfields and ph has one probably more than any other James Bond model
quoting the rrp means nothing if you want a more realistic idea then look on pinside nib prices considerably less than rrp and don’t sell It would be interesting to see what a used one has actually sold for if sold at all
Marcel you would be better getting all the posts removed cool down and re list after Christmas with a clear price and an accurate description
