To be fair, Lebowski was switched on for pretty much the whole weekend. The kickback activator switch had come loose, that's why it wasn't working . . . . I just didn't know until the end of the weekend. I've reconnected it now and it's fine.

The upper flipper not working caught me out. It only stopped working in the car mode called 'car chase' which is the first one suggested when the screen prompts the player to choose modes. The object of Car Chase is to avoid the car and hit the loops, if you hit the car, the flipper stops responding and the ball drops back to the lower playfield apparently.

This is good to hear and that managed to stay on all weekend in comparison to others that didn't. Bit dodgy a connection coming loose though, but that's a human issue not the boards so laughing all the way to a bank on P3-ROC.

Good to hear you all like TBL and Scooby. Just by way of an update...

TBL - first batch all gone, second batch on way and 3 out of 5 already spoken for.
Scooby - about to be produced for us UK buyers, here Oct/Nov

Phil
Awesome news Phil, looking forward to getting my Scooby Doo👍
Don't suppose you have any updates on when Super Hoop machines might be landing??

I continue to chase...

1 TBL left from 2nd batch now!

The fact that TBL is flying off the shelf is no shock. The whole “it feels like a Bally Williams” with modern code and packed playfield (upper and lower too!).

That’s a big heavy machine though 😂

So my daughter has discovered that it's possible to play bowling as a stand alone game. 10 rounds just like the real thing and she's whooping my ass.

Fully sussed out the three car modes now. One is limited flips (to reactive the flipper the player has to shoot the upper PF again) so it's easy to see why some thought the upper flipper wasn't working.

The code is really cool. The order in which you complete the bowling challenges is quite important.

Loving the ability to start other character multiballs whilst you're already playing an alternative one.

This is a very clever game.

If it helps sell the last one I've got one keyring left, gratis.

Well, well, well, look what turned up today.

I've got 4 spare if any owners want one. Just PM me your address and I'll send you one, completely free of charge.

I can't guarantee what colour bowling ball you will get, could be blue, green or purple.

Loved Bond and likely my next machine (pro) hopefully, just need to take on a 2nd job so I can afford one 😂

Have to say, I do think Bond was much much better than the bashing it gets. In fact, I rather enjoyed it. Might even be second after Scooby Doo, which I just thought was ace.

Yes Bond appears to get a bashing, not so much now though. I have been following the code updates, the game is also quite fast playing which I like.

I never played Scooby, love the theme and the whole package is stunning. However not quite a fast game for me, the music is slow paced for me also, though it suits the game.

I was just thinking about the old Bally Williams games. Mad how many bangers they produced in such a short space of time. All of these were made just 6 years apart

When Bond first hit the market it felt like a concept prototype rather than a finished pinball machine.

For the first few months the code and video assets were an embarrassment. It felt like they didn't have a licence to use many callouts and film footage . . . basically it wasn't anywhere near finished.

It feels completely different now, a real slow burner it seems.

Maybe in years gone by, people were forking out thousands for unfinished games, but perhaps Bond is available when there is an abundance of choice and less money to spend.

Those who were happy to wait a few months whilst Stern developed the game have a real cracker on their hands now.

I can't stop looking and reading into Bond, I think its going to turn out one of the best (if you are a bond fan especially)

I really like the iconic bond music and some of the games sound effects. I like the older school feeling games and so far I am really liking bond and closely following all the code updates and gameplay videos.

Now I am not really one for complex rules but so far I appear to be understanding whats going on so far with Bond, most likely as I constantly following the game. But so far it seems packed, must be about half a dozen multi balls, 24 modes and now 4 wizard modes I think. The bond women multiplayer action button is now recently added so that adds a lot of risk and reward.

This game is also not linear, you have no option with the action button to choose which henchman or villain mode etc you want play. Instead it's random with the shots into the pops, but.. you can hit the Goldfinger target which will cycle over them then make the short to start the mode. You'll likely never play the same mode on every game you play, this is a very good thing I think.

The Pro for me would be the one to go for, it's fast.. You have the upper left flipper shot available on the ball locks and no waiting on bond on a wand for jetpack multi ball either. Though I really enjoyed the premium game also.

Bond pro can be had for like £4.8k used in the US a near 4k difference compared to a new UK Pro :( This game is currently not really getting much praise at the moment but I think that will change in time.

Other games I have my eye on closely are Deadpool, I actually scanned over the readme and checked the code releases. DP did not get much praise until around 10 months after initial release. Bond will take time possibly very very long to get there but I think it will. Gomez appears to be a huge bond fan so hopefully he keeps pushing the team behind it.

In other news, another cracker from Pinfest was Ghostbusters Premium, I love GB and this was the first time I played a premium. Seemingly GB code had taken 3 years before it become a good game.

As you said mate this game is going to be a real cracker, I think it already is and will only get better, brutal and brilliant.

One last thing. What's even more crazy is I have posted the last two code updates in the Bond Owners forum on here as a heads up, and when I posted the 0.95 code update there had not been a single post in the Bond Owners thread in 6 months.......... and.. I posted the a Stern stream and todays 0.96 code update.

I need to join this club..........

That's decisive talk Scott mate . . . . sounds like you've already made up your mind 😂

We all know what it's like to set your hear and mind on a pin.
