Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Everyone can innovate but does it make a good game?
Not necessarily. Heist was quite good in my opinion. It’s not the best game that I’ve ever played but it was a good one for sure.
the flippers feel spongy as hell and when you hit the ball there's no kinetic satisfaction and it feels like you are on a VPIN.
The one that I’ve played was ok tbh.
15 balls? what's the point? 13 in Apollo 13 sucked.
No point for 15 balls that’s for sure. But the removal of that space waster shooter Lane it’s quite cool.

stern could actually do that offer just playfields to be swapped out. but you claim you have multiple games but all you really have is a less back breaking way of changing your game. If you have 1 chassis and 5 games you can play 4 players. If I have 5 proper games I can have 20 friends round (not really as I don't have any friends).

Well, I’m not saying that this should be your only pinball game, that’s for sure. Hell no! This would be something else in a collection. Just something different. I like my pinballs 2000 games. They are different. Do I play them constantly? No! But I do play them now and then…

Weird Al, big in the 80s and 90s.
Funny for about 20 minutes.

Multimorphic pinball.
Average for about 20 minutes.

Having played a couple over the years I think the flippers feel awful.

If a Popeye and this was the same price, and I had to buy one. I would be going home with the popeye.

Doubt if one of these will get into the UK, I bet all the P3 machines in this land will be countable on one hand.

I understand perfectly and I agree with a few thing that you said. Speaking about the flipper problems, only two months ago Multimorphic announced their flipper upgrade kit that seems to resolve that issue. Have a read please:

As of today, all new P3 machines shipping from the Multimorphic factory will include the enhanced flippers, and existing P3owners will soon be able to add the same enhancements by installing a Flipper Upgrade Kit.

The Flipper Upgrade Kit is a combination of hardware, firmware, and software updates that all work together to deliver consistent and powerful flips no matter the velocity of the incoming ball or the part of the flipper bat it contacts. When added to the existing P3 flipper assembly, which is designed to ensure newly installed bats are always perfectly aligned, this kit makes the P3flippers some of the best-feeling flippers in the pinball industry today. Early testers agree:

“With the upgrade kit, the P3‘s flippers go from good to great,” says Kevin Manne of Buffalo Pinball. “I immediately noticed increased strength and shot accuracy, as well as improved response when the ball hits the flipper. And with built-in software adjustments, you can dial the flippers in exactly how you like them.”

Nick Baldridge, 3rd-party P3 game developer and host of the For Amusement Only podcast, says, “With the new flipper kit, the P3‘s flippers remain the snappiest I’ve ever used, even when presented with challenging layouts with extremely fast-moving balls like Cosmic Cart Racing.”

yeah Kevin thinks JJP flippers are good though so fail. 😂

I’ve tried the new flippers - better but still feel numb games still lacks kinetic satisfaction.

maybe now with Scott, Bowen and Colin they will pull together a great game - Scott tells me I’m going to want one and he’s usually good at predicting this. I’ll get to play the new game at TPF. But it’s going to be competing with two big games at the show CCR and my prediction for turd of the year Toy Story. Rumours of a new game from AP being shown also.

No Arv, I wouldn't work for a bank for all the tea in China. I was busy building the first ISP in the UK which we sold for £66M and I got a beautiful slice of that and could have retired at the grand age of 26.

put that in your pipe and smoke it!

The good thing is mate you've stayed humble

Weird Al is a LEGEND. His Star Wars tune is a classic!

well nobody is perfect 😂

I have to agree though from not having heard of this a few days ago I think it’s a great theme for pinball.

I clicked on the first post in this thread thinking.. Jpop? No effing way did they do that.....*rage intesifies* ....OH, its weird Al. *Calm ensues*....That's fine. Still rather chew my toes off than play it, but hey, each to their own.

Also, this place wouldn't be the same if Neil didn't chime in at some point telling people how rich he was. Life is good. *Soothing whale song and panpipes* 🤣

Looks good. I've just been checking him out on youtube and realised the only song of his I know ( Eat It ) isn't even in the game  .

WHITE AND NERDY is in.

but the layout looks a bit stop and start to me!

Looking at the pricing… $8300 for the cabinet, $3000 for the playfield, $1350 VAT, $1000 - $1500 for shipping and duty.

In pounds at your door it would be anywhere between £10300-£10800 for the standard edition or between £12000-£12500 for the premium one.

Lol didn’t he do “I’m fat” or something to Michael Jackson’s Bad.
I remember the video in the car park and everyone in fat suits😆
The woke brigade would be all over that these days.

Seriously am I the only one who thinks this looks total bobbins. Kind of like the early 2000 sterns such as WOF.

If the call outs are the ones in the video I’d be breaking Will Barber’s record for getting shot of a new game.

It’s simply got to play better than it looks.

Wow, not what I expected at all. You'd hope this comes with a bell so you can ring for the playbus.

I saw the title name the other day and I expected weird al. Just eat it, white and nerdy (as mentioned), a music / comedy pin in some way or another.

Fair play because from what I can gather these machines have been aimed at family anyway, but expected a bit of edge to it, maybe it has hidden modes, like that would help...

What I really want is a wizard mode that plays though all of Trapped in the Drive Thru

I had a weird, late Weird Al phase...

More manufacturers bringing different ideas and innovations is a good thing for the hobby, I think.

Not sure about Weird Al, myself. But I'm sure the theme will appeal to enough people to sell out.
