Software is hard right... Especially if you have to maintain 3x the interface (js+android+iphone). UI dev sucks imho.
(To clarify, I have no idea if their app is browser based or not. I've no interest in IC and don't plan to connect my pins to the web, or install any app.)

I'd be amazed if it's not just an Electron shell, exactly as Thomas said. This is how 90% of mobile apps are packaged these days. Even Microsoft is using it for some 'Windows' apps these days - Teams, Skype, WhatsApp, Twitch... almost any app you install these days is just a wrapper around a Chromium browser pointing to a website. It means it works on Android, iOS, Windows, Linux. No cross platform development required

I didn’t think Stern would work with Franchi again after the last 3 or 4 fallings out between them.
Kaneda has also been banging on for months about not pre-ordering new games and telling everyone to #waitandsee when it comes to new pins then he goes and reserves an LE 
I don’t follow his podcast but I’ll watch him on Facebook if I’m not doing anything else and those are the parts I enjoy watching, all those multiple personalities fighting to be heard and take control for the day, the train crash rants and the flip flop “wait and see!
