It is a mechanical reel, Keith posted a picture to his Facebook, with the backbox open showing the reel and sarcastically joking about how cool these LCD score reels are.
That's no fun!
What was wrong with the thousands of games with four score reels? They were a lot cheaper too

Not even listing it for RRP and writing off $2600 so easily? Smells a bit off to me unless there really is no demand for it.
I would imagine that information would be kept on the playfield lcd, this is also insider connected so will have a digital element to it also.

Loose 2 and a half grand (likely his deposit) or shell out another 20k on top? Smells like common sense to me. Stern over reached on this one. Should have made it a 1000 units and dropped it to LE pricing and they would have likely sold faster than a Bond girl drops her knickers.

Which Bond movie do pins appear in….
Licensed second hand PlayStation and Nintendo games aren’t expensive. Neither are the slots.
The valuable Bond stuff has providence.
Even when GnR pin was released many of the hardcore fans on music forums weren’t interested.
The value is generally only seen with pinball enthusiasts.
I was really looking forward to these pins , just not feeling that cool Bond vibe at all.
Was hoping for more assets, music and integration.
Oh well….

Yes - I know what you mean, I just stumbled across it after watching Gozo's latest video.
I posted really to highlight that the "exclusive" about face hasn't gone un-noticed elsewhere.
So they decide to **** off the very bunch of people with enough money to take action in a litigious country. Not sure how they got it past the legal dept.
Easy Phil. They just have the 'specifications subject to change' get out clause on flyers etc

Also annoys me they used the wrong Bond silhouette on the topper, doesn’t match the cornerstone Connery era games.
And it’s not officially a canon/movie silhouette, Bond has to be the biggest failed launch ever for Stern it’s been a sh*tshow from start to finish.

The profiteering cash cow driven strategy will drive into a wall at some point. Let's hope it doesn't drive Stern bust but merely sets prices at a responsible, sustainable level else the supply of nearly new second hand pins may well dry up.
Its gutting, I sold a pin as I was very keen for this original Gomez but as you say a total shower from the beginning and cancelled my order. Again my hopes on the 60th were high for a masterpiece but alas, to me corporate greed has eclipsed the passion and this reveal more than others has really pulled back the curtain on that. is the damage repairable? I hope so but fear not....That’s brilliant
