You're Gonna Need a Bigger Pin Barn Tournament - 16th November

I fixed roadshow last night so that is in. Mousin Around has two troublesome switches. Hopefully will be ready too

Lovely couple of crisp pints of Asahi with GRE, who I have discovered has an absolute aversion to “In Da Club” by 50 Cent

Which got me thinking that whoever makes the final should ABSOLUTELY have walk-on music when they’re approaching their first game, like at the darts

I love this idea!

Let me guess, your theme tune would be "In Da Club"? 😂

A huge thanks to Jon for letting me tag on at the last minute, I'm very grateful mate. Jon did a stellar job laying on all the food, snacks and drinks with the curry and coffee definitely needed. Also a huge thanks to Claire and David for running the matchplay. Well done to the final four, Conrad, Greg, Craig Hutchinson and Jon with Greg taking 1st place. Is there a tournament that Greg doesn't attend? I just want to put a shout out for @DeadPin, Dean Tilson. In only his second or third tournament Dean flew up the table after lunch and finished just 1.5 points from the cutoff, well done Dean. A great day at the barn, I will be back. By the way has Simon written his report yet?

A fantastic day huge thanks to Jon for hosting at his incredible Pinbarn and for Claire and David for running. Shoutout to David for getting through to the semifinals so soon after his surgery, the Bowery is back!

Everything was so well-run you kind of forgot this was the first ever matchplay at Jon's, felt like a well-oiled machine that had been doing this for years. Congrats to Greg, Conrad, Jon and Craig on making the finals. I had no problem with getting knocked out by THAT many triple jackpots on White Water, superb play from Craig in the semis.

Would gladly attend many more :)

Firstly I wish to second what @Lickashot said about Jon and the fantastic event he put on for us all. It was amazing. Great setup and good selection of games.
Massive congratulations to all of the finalists and great win for Greg 🏆
I don't know what was in that curry but I went from 4 last places before lunch to ,4 firsts and a second place after lunch. All was well and above my hopes for the day. I went with no expectations and just wanted to enjoy the pinball. In the end I enjoyed the whole day, loved the pinball, loved speaking to new people (everyone is so helpful when I don't know anything about new tables) and finished higher than I could have ever imagined. This was only my 2nd tournament and my first matchplay and I loved it. When is the next one .............

Thanks to @Jmac for hosting an amazing event didn’t realise it was his first! So well run it felt like he had been doing it for years food spread was second to none.
Lovely venue with a great selection of games too. The tournament itself was well run as usual with @Lecari at the helm.
Some incredible pinball play was witnessed with some off the charts scoring from @robotgreg 1 billion a on bride of pinbot and jaws there were others which I can’t recall at the moment. I had a decent day myself finishing 28th from a field of 37 players

Greg took the win with @Jmac 2nd @C&C 3rd and Craig hutch 4th

Very many thanks to Jmac for hosting a.great event, providing a fantastic spread of food and loved the curry as ever. And it's the people, as ever, that helped to make it a really enjoyable day. Thanks as always to Claire for running a smooth comp.

Awesome games rooms with fantastic condition, machines were a joy to play.

Special mentions to Craig for making the final and knocking out Nathan on the way, Simon for continued improvement, almost making his first final and to Ben, who almost took both Nathan and me down on Radical before we were able to get decent last balls, both going from under 500K to over 10 million.

Also to Jmac for a solid second and Conrad in 3rd.

As has already been said, a massive thanks to @Jmac and his family for letting over 35 people invade his home for the day, and for providing lots of really delicious food. What a great place with a wonderful selection of machines from classics like Viking through to some of the latest such as Jaws and The Godfather.

Huge thanks also to @Lecari for running the show so efficiently, and to everyone who turned up to make it a very enjoyable competition and a fun day out.

Congratulations to Craig, @Jmac and @robotgreg on making the final, and a well deserved win for @robotgreg who was on another level, winning all 3 games in the final by a country mile. Particularly impressive was his total control on Bride of Pinbot - he never looked like losing the ball when working through locking all the balls, and setting up and hitting the 1 billion points shot all on his first ball.

A thoroughly enjoyable day, and I'm really looking forward to the next one.

Well played on radical I expected the pair of you to win against me on radical my score would have been higher than that to put either of you under pressure!
