Hope this is OK to post here, I wondered if someone kind enough could help me with the dimensions of the Williams lockdown bar tabs - as far as I can tell they use the same tabs for both styles of Williams lockdown bar, so hopefully they are universal.

Related part numbers widebody lockbars: A-16055 / A-17996 and receiver (if needed): A-16773-1

I have searched online high and low, and can't seem to find anything relating to these measurements.

*Z - Notch angle is not as important, I can fudge that later on, but if someone can measure it, that'd be perfect.

Many thanks in advance!

Anyone? This applies to any Williams lockdown bar from the 70s onwards - they all have the same undercarriage, so there must be 1000s of people with a Williams lockdown bar.

You're a legend, Paul! Very much appreciated. If I could give you a reward, I would!

Updated my image in case anyone needs it in future or wants to corroborate.

*I have had one other set of dimensions, which have a difference for the notch width - that seems to be more likely at 10mm width, which would then make the notch height (not on orignal plan, but calclulated from A - (C+D) = 6mm notch height - which looks about right.

I have taken the average between both those measurements to arrive at the version below, which may be slightly different to the info Paul originally provided. Hopefully everything is within 1mm of accuracy:

The thickness of the metal of the backing bracket is actually 2mm but it adds 3mm onto outside dimensions of A and C as it was clearly impossible to get a perfect fold when metal is bent. But 1mm either way shouldn't matter anyway as there is adjustment in the receiver.

Thanks for the confirmation, Paul. Hopefully this will be useful in future for someone else as well.

As for the spacing on a Williams widebody lockdown bar, I've found these measurements online. With all of the above, someone should be able to manufacture a lockdown bar that works with the original lockdown receiver:
