What have you sold to fund your next pinball?

The last time I sold things to fund other things was back in the 90's selling my Atari Lynx plus games to buy Mortal Kombat 2 the day it released on SNES. Never done that again. These days I have the actual original Mortal Kombat 2 arcade machine without selling anything to fund it.

My son's favourite Pinball is Roadshow and when Dan's came up for sale at Pinfest last year, we jumped at it. My wife said I had to sell something to fund it, but I couldn't bring myself to sell one of my other Pins, so decided to sell seven Super Nintendo games that I brought over twenty years ago for £20.

Fortunately they were all sealed in mint condition and I had the foresight to keep them that way. I knew they were worth abit, but I was shocked when they went for a total of £8.5k.

Not bad for a £20 investment 😃

Still sealed… So you’d never played them? £8.5k for 3 games is astronomically insane. I would’ve done the exact same.

It was actually seven SNES games, but still insane. I only added pictures of a few of them. Donkey Kong Country 3 sold for the most at £2.3K. Most of the people who bought them were going to send them off to either VGA or UKG to get them graded.

I do have unsealed copies of the game I wanted to play.
