There is nothing wrong with the posts and other bits apart from being really dirty. Using a polishing wheel to clean them up is quicker than a tumbler and gives a better finish.
Anyway I will be spending enough on this project without having to buy all new posts, screws, nuts and bolts and the like.

Why buy new when with a little polish they come up as good, no, even better than new.
