Is anybody else struggling to load up the pinball info website when connected on mobile data? I can use any other website bar this one when on mobile data. Once I’m connected to the WiFi there is no issues, could it be my setting or the website?

You were probably in a place where you think you got 5G but actually it’s foooked. Happened to me a few times recently when I was on the road.

I’ve tried in a few places today and all saying the same, it only seems to be this website, everything else is fine, checked the settings but can’t see anything.

For me it’s been perfect but since Saturday it’s been hit and miss , did put it down to Paul doing some maintenance on the site but I don’t know now🤔

Yep, same here for me too @Cooper . I'm on EE if that matters. Started on Friday/Saturday exactly as described above.

I messaged an admin last night to see if any changes had been made on site, not heard back yet, but will post here when I do.

I've not changed any settings and every other website is fine and only when using data connection.

Hoping it gets sorted.

We had some issues with what seemed like EE at the SWales league meet on Sunday..
Nothing at all has been changed this end.
Are those that are having issues all on EE by any chance??
Thanks!

@Paul Workaround here:

And while we're talking website issues, while possible it's my connection, the images on a page take an age to load. If it's a for sale page with 10-20 images they "slowly zoom in" almost like the page hangs.
I noticed this months ago and while I've a 62 Mb download speed something here can't be optimized for all browsers. Can't be just me with a Mac, can it?

Must say I’ve never experienced that issue on phone or PC .

Yeah I’m on EE, currently on the firms WiFi

Mobile Data or Wifi are just different types of access networks, there's nothing special about mobile data.

However, it means the connection routes differently, uses different DNS, may have filters/CDN/caching that changes things - could be someone is blocking something, somewhere or filtering or the site or IP is on a 'bad' list someone is filtering against.

When it isn't working, what does putting 192.250.239.53 into the browser get you? The same message or a cPanel 'sorry' page?

If it happens regularly then I'd suggest you log the following:

Mobile Network
Phone or Laptop Make/Model
Browser used (and version)
Result of growing to the above IP and www.bbc.co.uk at the same time

Ok so, this still isn't working for me.

ONLY when using mobile data, works fine when hooked up to ANY WiFi.

When I try I get the forum error message, see below.

When I changed my URL as suggested, I get the usual error, see below.

So it is definitely linked to this site.

I haven't changed any of my settings or software. It matters not what browser I use, or even a vpn, etc.

I'm on EE.

This is really annoying. How am I meant to refresh the for sale section every 15 seconds when I should be working..

Anyone got any ideas?

Not been able to get onto site with mobile data for a few days. Other sites are fine.
Using wifi works fine.
EE
Samsung S21.
Chrome. Version 131.0.6778.261
IP address = cpanel sorry page.

Cannot connect using tablet & using phone as a mobile hotspot. Tablet connects using home wifi.

I get a sorry page when I put the code into google, unsure what it means.
EE
iPhone 15 pro
Google/ don’t know what version
I don’t if I’m doing this one right but it takes me to the bbc page.

The pattern here seems to be that if you’re on EE it won’t work on mobile data, what’s EE’s problem with pinball info?!?!?

Still have to use WiFi to look on this site
I use EE and my phone is a iPhone 12 at home mobile date is 4g and in Cheadle (Manchester) where I am working is also 4g . On a good note I have been watching “My Family “ on the BBC iPlayer 👍

Complain to EE, they added some sort of additional blocking last week and tons of websites are affected

VPN would help, but nothing the site can do if they are blocking it

You could try disabling content blocking:

Yes! You Sir, are bloody good.

Logged into EE app and they had turned all of our settings to 'moderate-teens'.
Changed that back to "off-adult", turned off my WiFi refreshed the page and......

It only bladdy works again!
