UKPinfest 2021 - August 27th, 28th & 29th

NBA Competition Info

As posted previously by @ailsaclunie NLP and Scottish Pinball Association will be running the usual NBA Competition over the weekend.

• 6 Groups of 4 players (3 competitive games minimum)
• Winner of each group qualifies to the knockout stage
• The top 2 runners-up also qualify to the knockout stage
• Trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
• Group stage will be run on Saturday, knockout games to be played on the Sunday
• £5 to enter - ALL monies collected will be donated to Pinfest
• Registration open tonight (Friday), we will reserve spaces for people arriving tomorrow
• Competition starts at 11:30
• Once registered we will provide you with a time window for your assigned group games

Good luck all who enter and we look forward to having some craic with you all

I wasn’t going to Pinfest this year as a busy weekend lined up but seeing all the set up photos makes me want to ditch my plans for Sunday at least and come down for the day.

Apologies for being, in the parlance of our times, behind the curve but:

Can I pay on the door if I come down Sunday?

Seen a few posts from people saying they’ve done Covid tests. Is a negative test a pre-requisite for entry or is evidence of double jabs get me in?

You can pay on the door no problems.

A negative test isn’t required but it doesn’t hurt to take one if you can. There are some tests at the front desk if you don’t have access to one.

Well since this fantastic event was moved to August bank holiday I and quite a few people can’t get so if I’m not gonna be able to enjoy myself, I don’t see why any of you lot should.
I hope there’s a power cut to start with. Hope half of you get a puncture in your trainers/shoes or a nasty infection in yr flipper fingers.
