To everyone that's going to the show have a brilliant time, I am a tad jealous because I can't make it because of family commitments please post up plenty of pictures and I hope to make the next one and meet some of you lovely people.
 
Anyone know if the gym and pool at the hotel will be open? I've tried calling several times but this week but no one answers the switchboard.

No, I was told the pool is being refurbished and none of the spa facilities available. Actually I didn't mention the gym so that may be?

Put it this way if someone doesn’t do a test and is positive and an outbreak happens they will be putting many things at risk including pinball events and I hope people think beyond themselves.

One thing I will add based on having to do dozens of risk assessments over the last 18 months I think Phil is spot on with his approach to this and I salute him.

I agree. I think the way this has been handled is fantastic.

Here is to hoping that people be sensible. This weekend has been a long time coming, and we don't want anything to spoil it.

Again just to reiterate this is all just government guidance, no one should feel pressured to take a lateral flow test or cover their face. Anyone who chooses to do so is exercising their rights just as someone who chooses not to is exercising theirs. I for one will not be judging that persons character and morals as a human being based on these choices.
 
I agree nobody should feel pressured to make sure they don’t inadvertently kill someone

Well . . . 1 PCR & 2 two lateral flows later is about as good as I can do. I'd happily do temperature check and even do a lateral flow on the door if it were required. I'll be regularly hand washing and sanitizing.

I'm going to bring a test kit with me too just to be extra safe.

That being said I'm asthmatic AND wear glasses so I'll not be wearing a mask.
