I do wonder if the result is just going to end up with everyone voting for their local club and the one with the most members wins, so won't it be a surprise which club ends up on top.....

A better representation of the best club would be to not allow anyone to vote for their local club in the same as when footballers vote for the player of the year, they are not allowed to vote for players from their own club.

One way to ensure this works, would be a voting form where you list your name, your local club and your vote. That way it could be checked to see you're not voting for your local club by comparing individual to club.

Just an idea but otherwise, I fear it is a foregone conclusion!
Yeah, this is a geography competition in reality.

Wasn’t special when lit on its own and doing it for ages alone ?
Big thanks to Peter and kudos from me anyway.
Might not be the best or biggest but thanks for doing it , and bringing pinball to players in the South West

All of these votes will be subjective.

Speaking from experience, just finding a location can be a massive headache (it took me 5 years!). Then you need the machines, staffing the venue and probably the biggest challenge of maintaining them. Every venue that puts pinball out there for public use (and keeps the machines maintained) is an asset that should be applauded.

The fact that there are so many locations with pinballs in is great, long may it continue to expand

Yeah, SWL got my vote. Who knows how to define the best (and its certainly up there) - but I certainly think it's the most worthy of recognition. Was a trailblazer and showed the rest of us what was possible.
