I realised recently that the original was pretty terrible upon taking the rose tinted glasses off.. the special effects were pretty poor for the time too considering what was released prior to it. Sure it was the first movie to have a complete cgi section but it looks rubbish in hindsight and iam kinda sorry I rewatched it tbh
