Well to cut a long story short, the missing TOTAN is back with its rightful owner!

It was a stressful and emotional time for all parties involved and one we are all glad to see the back of.

I got the call on Friday to say TOTAN was being collected this Tuesday (today) It was closure for me and quite rightly the best outcome. Phil informed me it would be collected by the courier who orginally lost it and that they would leave me with a thank you on Phil's behalf. A reward of sorts for finding TOTAN. I was left wondering what it could be. Phil's last words to me in his email were "Winters coming" expect a pinball shaped box?

Sure enough after TOTAN was dragged away on to the truck the delivery guys were back with the box...

Now I'm like there must be some mistake? Are you sure this is being left here. All I get is "yup the delivery note states to drop this here". I try ringing Phil to see if this is some kind of sick joke but can't get hold of him.

The delivery guys leave and I do what any self respecting pin head would do, and rip that sucker open. I know the gig is up as soon as I touch the box. Its a little light to hold a pinball machine..

Cheers for the wine Phil, it will keep me warm for the Winter :)

Wow Phil that's an awesome gesture and what a great outcome. Remind me to loose something with Phil sometime [emoji12] (obviously I joke). Just goes to show there are still good guys out there
 
I love a good feel-good story, thanks for sharing @tyke and really glad you wern't left out of pocket. Like others have said massive props to Phil for a replacement game, especially an NIB GOT!
 
So pleased for you Tyke. Not a nice situation to be in and I think Phil needs a medal. Hat's off to you sir.
 
So a stolen pinball machine was returned to it's rightful owner, and those who lost out were compensated. Good times all round! Well done everyone involved, thats awesome :thumbs:

Wow. Hats off to @philpalmer - Even though I still maintain we don't know each other (as opposed to some messages we as an admin team Received messages from telling us we were being complete bastards for being biased to Pinballheaven for closing the threads), that's a right gentlemanly thing to do :)

I for one am relieved that things turned out well - Well chuffed for ya Tyke :)
