Thoughts on Dr Who

After looking what I paid which was $113 and then a custom charge I would except £50 which is half what they cost me,I just open the box to see whats in there, 7 in total.
Please forgive the sales post in here, but I see everybody talking Dr Who and just thought one of you guys would like it.

I would buy all bits apart from expander edge and pf pieces, or the outhole covers and ramp protector if anyone else wants the other bits?

I've never liked this game in real life, now after playing it for a bit on the Pinball Arcade app thingy, I don't like it in digital format either.

John, you're right about this one but don't compare it to Dracula, which in my opinion is about a hundred times more fun. But as said above, diff'rent strokes for different folks - I'm with ronnie63 in that I'd rather play an XFiles

I still say it's very similar to Dracula.

Limited number of shots, multipliers are everything, no real modes, both quite brutal if you are just flailing around, both are 'players' games requiring accurate shooting/ setting stuff up

Who Multiball is just a rush, awesome shooting gallery and extremely satisfying thunking the Dalek targets. And tense stuff working thru the waves to Davros whilst keeping the multiplier up.

I agree that you wouldn't want it as your only pin, but I find it a lot of fun.

FTR I rate Dirty Harry a better all round Oursler pin than either Who or Drac.

"extremely satisfying thunking the Dalek targets"

Not on Associated Leisure owned examples - when my colleague returned from working for AL, he told me of an order for their 'engineers' to remove the roller arm which resets them when the Time Expander playfield dips down. Not adjust, but simply remove.

Dan, how long has the former White Hart, Hanwell been called 'Inn on the Green'?. I passed through yesterday, and went round the one-way loop to see if it was still a boozer.
