The "Today I received" Thread

Put stuff on a table? What a radical idea. Obviously useful stuff is always allowed, things like candles, vases, ornaments, priceless bits of fabric, etc. I find it's the general detritus of unhelpful objects, such as laptops, tools and wallets, that never seem to be welcome and are always dumped back in the shed or top drawer. ;)

oh yeah 'stuff' gets put on it, just none of my usefull stuff. weird things like a wooden vase with a rose from concorde in it (bizarely still looking in decent shape)

any of my stuff seems to rematerialise in the back bedroom....

Ha the faithful man draw

Nice.
It's fast and addictive, not been able to stop playing mine.
As for the numbers the ones I saw coming off the container were 130,140,351,352,354 and I think a 435 and a couple more so quite a selection.
Enjoy. I'm sure you will.

No mine's still playing up.
on you tube, someone else is having a problem with the crossbow, when the ball enters the crossbow the motor moves about 1/2 inch and cuts out, sometimes works fine, had a problem with the power cord on mine, loose inside the cab?

I think its the same mechanism as Austin Powers so I am familiar with a few issues on that. I maybe out and about early next week Darren so I will try and pop in and have a look for you.

Ooh... surprising large box from CPC...

Turns out there was an awful lot of air-bubble packaging inside rather than a fantastic free gift, but it does contain enough electronics to rebuild the 190V SOLENOID VOLTAGE REGULATOR circuit on 10 Bally boards! As I've got 5 that need doing I'll have some spares that I could make up into kits. Will certainly have plenty of resistors left over as they come in either 50s or 100s.

I had to go with 130V zener diodes as I couldn't source 140V ones from anywhere without the help of a Sovereign Wealth fund. It should be alright as I want to run the displays at a lower voltage of around 170V rather than the Bally standard of 190V as it extends their life. By my calculations I think using a 130V will mean the adjustable range will simply be shifted a bit lower, which is what I want anyway.

I'm also going to be experimenting the using a BUX84 as the original 2N3584 (the big silver transistor that sits in the middle of the heatsink) is hard to get. It can be found but those who have them know how sought after they are and ask $10+ each.

Mine seems to fire on its own and it has trouble locating itself.
How's yours ?
all the playfield toys are working fine, had to check the connections for the power lead as it wouldn"t fire up unless i gave the power lead a wiggle, hopefully sorted now

Great game overall , tight shots and very unforgiving in some games.
It's sold so well they are now bringing out the Premium.
It's all kicking off on Pinside.

Great game, very tough and unforgiving on some games but fast and a rush when you get a good game.
Premium just been announced as it's sold so well.

i agree ,not a easy game ,but plenty to do,superb lighting, and another code makes it better, all LE`s sold so bringing out the premium makes sense for them, same playfield but for a $1000 less, i wonder if this will be their business plan on future games, offer pro and le, and see how it goes
