The Pinball Chinwag Podcast UK

I have been watching the P3 for some time and think it is an amazing product. Can’t wait to get my hands on one. The engineering and materials look very high quality and refreshingly well designed. Gerry’s ethos and enthusiasm is very well received. 👍

Great to hear Gerry speaking on what has obviously been a labour of love. Even outside of the P3, he's brought so much to the industry. Without the PROC, who knows whether designers like Scott Danesi could have even gotten off the ground. He deserves huge respect.

I knew nothing of multimorphic or p3 til this chinwag. I must say I’m highly impressed by it, and he whole concept looks great, it’s innovative and futuristic, and has brought new life to a 40 year old concept.
Jerry seems a nice, decent honest guy, that values his customers.
Would love to play one, hope you can make it happen guys

We are on the case. The P3 is incredibly well designed and engineered.

LV?
All I could think of was Luncheon Voucher - every 70's businessman's way of getting a bit extra on the side 😉

It just goes to show how hard it is to make a pinball machine. 10 years, wow. Seems a really level headed and nice guy. I wish him all the best. F

Well you would know better than most how much goes into the construction of it mate.

I really liked that Gerry was looking at the future of pinball but also making it so as we can enjoy the older games in a new way with his board.

Shameless plug... I'm selling mine right now: https://www.pinballinfo.com/communi...3-pinball-machine-with-heist-playfield.51423/. Heist is fun, although people find it hard to play, very fast. But then @JustLikeMe came to play, and I realised it is just me that is ... not good 😉

I'd keep the machine if I had more room since the future looks pretty bright. I initially bought it to program it and make my own game, but I underestimated the time I'd need for it.

Very nice itw @Gonzo 👏. Gerry and the team there are fantastic and always ready to help. There are definitely onto something, especially if they can bring more mechs on the lower part of the playfield as they did on the heist with this third flipper. I've seen some prototypes floating around (pops etc.). We're all waiting for the new game reveal now...

LV = Legends Valhalla???

Let's be honest most of us wouldn't have the determination to achieve even a fraction of what Jerry's accomplished. I really hope he gets the big pay day he deserves, seems like a really nice chap too who has a lot of respect for his customers.

I look forward to playing this at Pinfest and wouldn't rule out placing an order.

Thanks @Gonzo great episode. ❤️

Another great chinwag - really enjoyed watching it and learning about the P3. Thanks @Gonzo.

I'd love to play one of these and certainly wouldn't rule out getting one at some point.

I look forward to hearing about the forthcoming release, and can be pretty sure that if nothing else, the music/sound should be excellent if Scott Danesi is involved. Also thanks to @stumblor for the heads up on Scott's latest album - currently listening to it on Spotify 👍

Great podcast @Gonzo - absolutely fascinating! I'd never heard of these before, love the idea of a modular design. It feels like the next step on from Pinball 2000, which had also been intended to be modular and has an interactive screen.

I really hope you can manage to get one over to the UK as I'd love to play it, it sounds really fun and great to see something new.

@philpalmer - loads of sales here - you should get on the blower to P3 and get your dealership sorted out for all these orders you are about to get.

Well that's my fireworks extinguished 😂😂

Only joking, I love all of these pinball innovations and I thoroughly enjoyed Lebowski, Alien and Octoberfest too. The more the merrier and I'm very enthusiastic about all of this stuff.

I'll do everything I can to bring one over.

As for Alien I'm really looking forward to playing a non-prototype model.

non prototype? the one at pinfest wasn't a prototype it was just a turd.

Octoberfest was great apart from the big ramp which with the P3 system was almost impossible to hit on a game lasting >5mins

Not an issue on mine even after half an hour or so. Keep in mind that the pitch for this game is supposed to be 6.0°, so I can imagine it won't work too well if you set it to 7.

Massive pinball crime that Alien and Lebowski, two of the most elite of all time themes got hoovered up by complete cowboys. Wish Stern had done both.

@Gonzo amazing chinwag mate, I’ve seen and read a lot about p3 over the years but it was great to have a condensed overview of it all very cool stuff. Interested to see what this licensed game is, heard the rumours on Pinside but would excited to see what is revealed.

Thanks mate. I haven't heard the license rumours on Pinside . . .. what's the word on the street? It's not Fireman Sam is it?
