I’ve an LW3 I’m going to list for sale.
What should I be asking?
Good playfield with no wear, no broken plastics, all playfield stripped and polished, all star posts replaced with the Williams style plastic ones, metal ones included if anyone was bothered by that.
All GI is LEDs
New DMD controller and PinballSP colour dmd

Bad bits:
Lockdown bar is dented and side rails need to be sanded/sprayed.
Someone originally but the loom and it’s been soldered back together.
Artworks not great, someone’s had a go at touching up the blue, would need decals to be mint

How much damage to the wiring loom, what was cut?

Basically looks like the playfield was removed by chopping the loom at some stage in It’s life , someone(not me) soldered every wire back together, it’s not a bad job, I did plan on putting molex connectors there as I was expecting to have some trouble but it’s been fine and I kinda lost interest in it.

I’ll do a proper walk around video and put up a for sale thread at the weekend, I was just looking for a guide price before I list it

What do we think a Fish Tales might be worth today?

All working 100%, everything present - handle, topper, etc.
Playfield is really very nice, very few inserts on the centre showing any slight edge wear, playfield protector on top, ColorDMD LCD, cabinet is in excellent condition but faded a bit uniformly, Full comet LEDs, LED OCD, GI OCD (could both be removed), manual.

It's a nice but not minty example
Plays fast, and with no errors - been to several shows with no problems
Have the hunter killer ship for it but not got round to fitting it

What’s the history with it and how much would you be looking for? Was also in touch with Stevebrum who might have an incoming Monopoly in a few weeks. Which would you say is a better game for a casual player? I usually play a Tron and SM at my local snooker club so don’t want anything too brutal. Thanks,

Out of those 2 choices NASCAR is the better game it’s just a fun shooter and the mag loop track is great every time!

I’ve been watching a bit of it on TNT amusements- looks a cool game. The mag loop looks like Getaway.

It’s @Sgt GrizZ that has the NASCAR he might move on, a good friend of mine has a NASCAR and it’s a great game.

NASCAR is absolutely brilliant fun. NASCAR over monopoly all day long. Both Lawlor games and both good fun but NASCAR is a sleeper hit. Or the euro themed version of Grand Prix.

Did the values of tables change when they were released on TPA, or was it just that they were generally rising before that already? Space Station is getting released on FX3 in a week so gives everyone a chance to try out the ruleset.

That sounds very fair mate. One sold recently for about £1800 but it had new displays and there’s always a bit of haggling behind the scenes.

Hi all.

Would appreciate any suggestions on value for this T2 "chrome" edition as I need to clear out some space.
Cab condition very good outside with lovely shiny "chrome edition" cabinet art and playfield parts.
Playfield is entirely mylared, slight lifting around "autofire" and one mark under the mylar shown in pics.
Inside sprayed black.
A few LED's and so it looks great in the dark!
Has a big mothership, it's quite possibly too big to see the left ramp! But I do have the original.
I think I paid £3.4K 6 or 7 years ago - it's been played but only occasionally, as I have a home arcade with +35 machines to keep me going
