The "How much is this table worth" thread....

i think we all prefer Chris' price, but my records show i bought mine in January 2014 for £2300 so i think the later valuations are probably more realistic. great fun game.

Having seen the ropey amazing spiderman on ebay wondered how much these go for and how often they come up, did anyone make a replacement plafield or printed overlay ?

any help much appreciated coz i love the theme

this is a game that is awful to play good to look at. a few on ebay not working over the years but not for a long time. last working one sold around £600 5 years ago and was rough. all about the theme tbh. surely a grand would get a working one but steer clear if you want a game to play LOL

Not sure about how they play as i have never played one. But i too have my eyes open for one. I wanted to re theme and fully cartoonise the sound :-) even to the extent of the old stanlee cartoon web-sling sound :-)

Seller Brian is really fishing with this one. he would take less but I think you all agree it needs to be a LOT less. early SS gottliebs are just EMS with beeps and digital displays. would rather it was EM. artwork is superb. I am hopefully acquiring a SS charlies angels shortly and that is about as basic as you get game play wise but these machines sold well for Gottlieb despite being so poor to play. suppose its our modern tastes , when these games came out the jump to solid state was enough to woo players.

Moonraker has a nice example at SWL. When I visited last he was just finishing it and the upper flipper was chattering but I still enjoyed it (nearly as much as Pink Panther!). I'm sure he has it all sorted and playing well by now.

Ha ha ha, nope... been busy on other machines!

I go to the bank now if anyone wants to sell a tidy WMS Indy J for £2k . for some reason the Stern is coming up for sale more than the Williams recently.

Maybe 1200 to 1400? Keep an eye out for playfield wear around the fish inserts on fishtails. Both have red in the cab artwork so are very susceptible to sun damage on the cab as well. Higher prices should be in better cosmetic shape.

Suggest you put up a wanted thread in the for sale /wanted section. A lot of people wont read this thread.
