The "How much is this table worth" thread....

Think I sold my one last year for £750. Artwork is a bit iffy and some of the call outs get annoying but overall quite enjoyable as a game.

Not particularly looking at selling 2 out of the 3 machines but would like to know opinions on value, so that they can be insured - or if I fancy a change.

WPT - Excellent condition, fully stripped down and refurbed recently - including new upper playfield, all new plastic set, rubbers, balls etc. custom target decals, custom WPT speaker grills, back lit speaker grills.

Met Monster Prem - Pristine. Colour DMD, Shaker motor, Custom back box brackets and side rails, replaced the cube with Newton ball, Custom UV reactive Sparky on the way, along with hammer. Side and back box UV decals, reactive speaker grill light mod, snake plastic extension and ramp decal(so it now looks like a snake and not just a turtle head), lit flipper buttons, fluorescent plastic protectors on slingshot and return lanes, superbands, all rubbers replaced with translucent. Probably more added but I've forgotten!

BBH - Great condition - Mini refurb. flipper rebuild, new rubbers, balls etc. Everything fully working. Will be first to leave, as I can't really see the other 2 ever moving on.

Cabinet and side art on all 3 VERY good, if not perfect.

Thoughts on value would be appreciated, as are offers on BBH ;-)

as are offers on BBH ;-)

Offers you say :D I have some sliced Turkey left over from XMAS day which I would like to offer. It was frozen on Boxing Day having sat out on the counter over night. The cat ate a bit of it, but I'm sure he washed his paws first. Other than that, it's mint. It 'owes me' a fair bit, so pretty sure that a straight swap for a BBH would be a fair deal. I'll have to defrost it before we do the deal, which pretty much rules out a courier, but if you wanted to collect it, you could drop the BBH off at the same time? Let me know.

I'm all turkeyed out after xmas, otherwise I'd definitely consider taking you up on your generous offer. If you had some pigs in blankets left, now that would be a different matter.:)

I love my paragon and am considering buying a cpr playfield and doing a stencil job to make it totally mint. Paragon is not too frightening as a playfield swap candidate

What is a used playfield worth please ? My Paragon was at NLP last year so you may have seen it and is as good as you are going to find - some cupping, very minor (1 to 2mm ) wear leading from some of the 1 to 10 bonus inserts but otherwise lovely condition

I could potentially swap it with someone who has a cosmetically knackered but fully working one for a cash sum as I have thoroughly cleaned and polished the underside of mine. Or I could strip my playfield and just sell it as a bare one

Alternatively, I could get it repaired. Is there anyone in the UK who can deal with inserts and touch ups ?

Thanks

been offered a capcom pinball magic hmmm what to do

I would say £2K to £3k depending on condition and how much someone wants it...

Didn't someone on here get one and shop it? I think it was from he who shall not be named in Hove and it was around the 2.5k mark if I remember correctly...

Sold mine fully shopped for £2400 which is basically what it owed me in parts and base game. Bear in mind that general Capcom parts are not the easiest to get hold of and game specific parts can be very expensive so check it's all there and nothings broken...else factor that into your offer. I think Peter was spot on with £2k to £3k depending on condition but I'd only pay over £2.5k if it's the nicest Pinball Magic ever where everything it pretty much perfect

Thanks for the info chaps, just watched your game play vid rons looks like a really really nice pin.. dare i say better than tom maybe
you didn't keep it long any particular reason ?
Ill look at it properly when i go back.. but on first impressions it was a very tidy machine indeed.

Can't keep them all and had other games coming in so needed space and funds :D It's a great game with loads of cool stuff on it, definitely better than TOM in my opinion

Hi Guys,

Can you give me a rough idea of value an Iron Man VE. HUO brought new in 2014 and flawless, very low use and has now become an expensive ornament.

Cheers, Al

I'm thinking I need to change my line up. I'm going to be looking for one of the newer sterns - maybe premium versions of star trek or walking dead.

TOTAN - reasonable condition. Fading to one side.
Monster bash - ok condition. drag track has one small bit of wear, small bit of play field wear from an old dodgy flipper.
Stern Spidey - HUO, pretty much immaculate
WW - bit tatty :)

All play fine / fully working.

Cheers

John

Hi John
Not sure on the totan or mb as I ignore prices on things i know I'll never afford!!

But spidey could between £2.8-£3k if it's mint as you say

WW have to see pics but if it's working with the topper but tatty I'd say £800-£1k.

I'd guess 3-4k for TOTAN, 4-5k for MB, so for average somewhere in between?
Blimey. I may have been out of the loop for a bit, but thats a load of money ! Good news for me I guess (unless I miss them and want them back :) )

My guesses-
TOTAN 3800-4200; MB 3800-4200; SM - 3000-3500 if truly HUO; tatty WW ?either Whirlwind 1000-1200 or Whitewater 1600-2000

These would all sell well here on the forum with good pictures and communication, top titles always go quick if priced right

I think you'd be lucky to get 3k for a spidey. It's one of the few good machines that seems to be slipping in value. So saying If I had the choice of a good HUO one for 3k or the vault edition for 7k I wouldn't think twice.

Pictures to follow since currently it's stripped down to the wood being cleaned, but:

Who Dunnit, nice cosmetic condition (a few cracked plastics, very minor insert edge cracking in the usual place), fully cleaned & repaired, new rubbers, bulbs, burned connectors replaced all the way back to the transformer, all new reel motors, LED inserts. Power driver and DMD boards not in the best condition but working.

I'll be looking to sell it probably in April, what's a price to ask for? Should I just throw it on ebay?
