For a remake maybe. Not sure it's that far off for an original...

Quick search shows one sold during COVID for £4800 on here
 
Prices really are all over the shop.

There’s been comments about WCS and the Flintstones being 4k games. I struggle to believe people are really paying that. (And I like both of those titles).

Is AFM really 6k? I’m still benchmarking stern lcd pros around that mark in my head.

Inflation really is a a mind ****er.

WCS and Flintstones werent 4K even at the bubble peak - barring the odd crazy sale on eBay . I’m not sure why folk are throwing values like that around now . You are into Wh20 and Creech territory there which are far more desirable and sought after titles.

You’re right though it’s a mind ****er these days 😁

I sold a WCS with new Pin2dmd for £2k during Covid, good players condition. I thought prices were dropping🤪

Agreed. I'm looking at older Stern Pros (Black Knight, Ghostbusters, Star Wars) and £6k or less is where I'm at, and that would be for a nice HUO one.

Still kicking myself I didn't grab that Star Wars Pro last week. I thought the Ghostbusters at £6500 was £500 too much but as above, prices are all over the place.

If anyone paid anywhere even close to £4k for a Flintstones they honestly need their head looking at.
 
I can’t imagine they actually got that but who knows. I’ve never paid more than £750 for one.

The WCS question is a good example of how ****ed everything is. They used to come up all the time and were sub 1k.

I’d like to get another and would probably pay up to 2.5k for a good example.

I suspect though the going rate is £3.5k

If the seller has the only one to hit the open market in say 2 years then they stick another £500 on top of it and WHAM all of a sudden it’s a 4k game for other sellers irrespective of whether it actually sold or not.

Net result I no longer want to buy and sell.
 
I paid 3k for my WCS94 last year but it needed work, I do like my pins to look very nice, so time I got a colour dmd and other parts needed I hit 1k on parts very quickly so now it cost me 4K.
Bringing a machine back to a high standard is the part I enjoy the most, a good distraction, something to focus on.

I do have one which I will be selling / trading against something in a few months. Currently isn't booting due to a battery leak and I'm currently chasing components so it will boot at least.
I'll post some pictures in a few weeks and will update the status if it boots. Either way, it will be offered here first not fleaBay.
 
Someone got a bargain wcs near me a few months back, think the eBay buy it now was something like £750, I was too slow and missed it 😁. Was listed as non working but was in good condition and looked complete.

Hi Folks,

Looking for a current value on these please. We aren't looking for trades.

Tales of the Arabian Nights (ColourDMD, LEDOCD).
Issues: Couple of broken plastics (snake, near captive ball, sling, near slings) but we have a spare NOS plastics set.
