£7,586.72 for a Popeye. Sarge!?
@Sgt GrizZ
Worth every penny. 😁
I wouldn’t pay that .

A few observations from the shonky pictures .

Cabinet seriously faded.

Does have the 3D Bluto head which is good as I think they are tricky to get hold of currently . Also has the boat cleats on the apron , which have always been unobtainium. Missing decal middle of apron.

Pic is crap but looks like it may be missing the metal lane dividers behind the Swee Pea ramp - these often failed at the welds and snapped off . Without them though the whole Swee Pea mode turns into a lottery.

This metal feed ramp is a bit rarer to see than the more typical blue plastic one. No added value but just noting it.

Toot toot and make mine a vodka and spinach 🍀

Even the crappiest 10 year old phone cameras have a multiple megapixel cameras, so when someone goes to the effort of converting the image into quarter-VGA. I assume they are doing so on purpose to hide something

Ffs 7.5k South Park anyone ?

Another dreamer 🤦‍♂️😅

at £7.5k they can't afford to turn it on....

And strictly when you go fetch it in the truck and bring it into the UK it needs to be declared and HMRC will want their 20% VAT to bring it up to 42K euros So it will be £35K to get it in the UK. Plus a 2,200 mile road trip from London, £500 in fuel and a few hotels. And maybe another £1K in foreign exchange fees. Deep pockets required!

It’s technically not a Capcom - they only made 12 prototypes of the game. One is on sale in US for $45K .

It’s an IPB remake of about 200 using Capcom parts. I have #84.
BBB is a good game, it’s fun and has simple modes/rules. By no means deep.

I bought it from original owner, then sold it… and then 4yrs later bought it back. 😂

I have had a few plays many years ago on a friend`s BBB so not exactly had a lot of experience. Leaving the price aside i thought it looked ok and played ok but i probably expected more given the hype. As usual i was underwhelmed by the over the top stuff for games that seem to gain value purely for rarity. I wanted to really like it but it`s no better than games at £2k/£3k to play for me.

It’s a 1990’s pin for sure. No better than a Bally Williams, MM or AFM or the B list titles..

It does have killer artwork, good dots and a pretty good soundtrack… and it the humour that makes it fun for me

I’ve never actually had the chance to play one, but I’ve always thought it’s an incredible looking game in photos. Striking art and a great looking playfield. Love the theme too.

Definitely wouldn’t spent €35k + import taxes on one but if there ever was another remake I’d be tempted.

A month or two ago there was a seller in the US who had both an original BBB and a Kingpin for sale on Pinside. The listing also said he’d ship internationally - I’ll admit I bought an extra line or two on the Euromillions draw after I saw those!

This hobby is bizarre. I sold my pretty decent BR in April 2019 for £2200.

Looking at subsequent sales and there’s not many. They sold in the mid £2000’s. Then all of a sudden in 2023 someone lists one here for about £3700.
No rhyme or reason. Just jumped over a grand with no sales in between.
People were asking £5k for “minty” ones.
Now it’s £4k for a project. I see it at sub 2k personally. I’d have another in a heartbeat but not at that price.
