The Beatles, first $50k pin, who's in?!

I'll buy you diamond pins my love if it keeps you satisfied but money can't buy me love.. I

My hat is off to stern on this - I believe they will sell out and stern will make a ton of money which stern will no doubt use some to hire more folks and build better games - it’s a huge win win for us pinball fans -loads of companies do this sort of thing (12K gold Apple Watch, ltd edition M5 (twice the price) and there is clearly demand so why shouldn’t stern - I wouldn’t buy this one but if they came up with a £50K Apollo/NASA themed pin - I suspect I would buy it without even seeing it.

Just how rich are you Neil ?

Mental.

At that price I would expect a unique one off machine that comes with a free Paul McCartney emoji16.png emoji16.png

And maybe also a 'Octopuses Garden' edition, comes with Ringo.... but that would be a lot cheaper.

Awww....poor old Ringo emoji6.png ' Here Ringo.... have a banana'

At 50k it's not targeted at Beatles fans. It's targeted at people with too much money who want a status symbol.

I'll take my Ramones pin instead, ta

If they don't call it Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds Edition they need to hire new marketing people

I'm pretty much done buying new pins. Unless they do a Jurassic World. I'd need to sell something to make room and there's little I want rid of. It's a case of 2 enter, 1 leave. Oh, maybe a Mad Max, or... a Blues Brothers, maybe a Tron 81.
Dammit, There's no chance of me not buying another, just not this.

Jurassic Park/World would be a day one buy for me. Perfect licence and very current. The newest movie was so ****e though I wonder if it's lost a little momentum

At least some money will be taken away from the 1% who own more than half the world's wealth. Or is Gary already in that 1%?

Prices don't have to "make sense." Someone paid £848,000 for a bottle of whisky in an auction this week.

I expect after drinking it, you'd easily be drunk enough to pay £50K+ for a pinball machine.

Fans will buy the 8K premium

Collectors spend the 50K

I predict gold is the premium but maybe not...

Didn't G.Stern once mention its cost over a million to design a pin? Can't see them spending that on Supreme, but i can believe it for a Beatles license.

50K hmmm. If i had it to blow comfortably on a pin, i'd do it. But it would most certainly have to be a massively over the top 'Big Trouble in Little China' theme with augmented reality headset.

Great post this very interesting I don’t think any distributors will be ordering any without a big deposit from the purchasers I know phil won’t be stocking it stern are really pushing the boundaries with this I thought bm66 was mad but this is nearly triple for the daddy one so will be interesting to see the out come

I would imagine so - it’s the back up to nobody buying the expensive one.
