I'm hearing that there is a Diamond, Platinum and Gold edition. The Diamond is $50k, FIFTY F CKIN K! I stopped listening after that but the others are equally stupid I think.

Right, dont all order at once, you'll crash the website, form an orderly queue...

At $50k = £50k by the time it gets to Uk, then "Help!" I wont be having a "Ticket to Ride" Even though the Beatles have "All My Loving" I wont be having one "In My Life" They can "Get Back" down "The Long and Winding Road" . But then again...... I AM a big beatles fan

Please please tell me this isn't true. Well don't all twist and shout about it. I've got a feeling that even Lucy in the sky with all her diamonds won't be buying one of these. I will have to raid my Penny Lane Jar to see what I have.
Seems Gary and Co has taken the long and winding road to crazy ville. Yesterday they may have gotten away with this but not today. Especially with a little help from my friends.

I have never even heard of the beatles ?

But joking aside. Good luck to them. Plenty of nutters in this world with too much cash

Mental.

At that price I would expect a unique one off machine that comes with a free Paul McCartney [emoji16] [emoji16]

And maybe also a 'Octopuses Garden' edition, comes with Ringo.... but that would be a lot cheaper.

Awww....poor old Ringo [emoji6] ' Here Ringo.... have a banana'

Maybe they’ve learnt from Supreme. Make 1 machine that may or may not ever sell

Pitch it at 50k simply to gain **** loads of publicity. A press release about a 50k game is maybe more newsworthy to mainstream media than just another stern release

Or it might just be that they are a bunch of cockwombles.

Talk about pi$$ing on your bread and butter audience.

Hope they make a huge loss, greedy bastards.

My hat is off to stern on this - I believe they will sell out and stern will make a ton of money which stern will no doubt use some to hire more folks and build better games - it’s a huge win win for us pinball fans -loads of companies do this sort of thing (12K gold Apple Watch, ltd edition M5 (twice the price) and there is clearly demand so why shouldn’t stern - I wouldn’t buy this one but if they came up with a £50K Apollo/NASA themed pin - I suspect I would buy it without even seeing it.

50k and I bet it's another bdk retheme

If so it has a great chance of being the next best game out of Stern - batman 66 whilst pricey has been worth every penny in my view - this code is outstanding and a lot more to come.

Stern didn't make the mad Supreme money though, that went to people who got an allocation and resold theirs without even opening the box etc. I think Stern sold it for ~$10k or so, which is obviously a bit higher than other NIB LEs, and more so than them due to the fact it was a reused theme and very, very minimal (because that's sooo cool) features & toys etc.

Unlike Supreme that seems to exist in a vacuum whereby money is no object, I can't see a $50k Beatles pin selling to anyone except very, very die hard Beatles fans who may or may not have any interest in pinball at all. There certainly wouldn't be a massive reseller market for it at any rate.

But I could be completely wrong, it has happened before.

Normal price for supreme when it was spiderman was $4K. Supreme version which was cheaper to make $10K so stern made more on that game than any other game they have ever made... I’m less convinced the flippers made so much

Pin cost to build for beetles will be 3-4K if they make 45K on it b00m if they don’t sell then they can bring the price down - if they do sell then they’ll be singing. Selling 3 of them probably covers all the design costs

Stern managed the payments of Batman SLE directly in the US also as I recall

Stern are a business - they are there to make money - don’t like it? Don’t buy anything from them! But if you had away at work to double your wages this week...
