Thank You.

Big thanks to NLP Mark and @Mooseman for fixing my armoured cable to games room today after I hit it with a spade and cut right through to the live wire.

Pins were dark, cold and lonely since the weekend but fixed within days thanks to these guys (again).

You didnt use armoured SWA???? :o

Certainly did, 10mm. Builders had only buried a couple of inch down when erecting gates and fencing... It may have been my chisel whilst knocking off some post concrete rather than the spade, not sure.

Sounds strange - the whole idea of armoured SWA is that you CANT just stick a spade through it!
And being buried a couple of inches down should be fine!

Armoured doesn't mean it will stop everything. It's just a posh name for a degree of mechanical protection. I agree if you hit with a spade it will not normally penetrate. This looked like the corner of the spade has glanced the edge of the cable. Pierced the outer sheaf pushed the Armoir aside then pierced the inner sheaf and then the live conductor. A very skilful job lol. Good job the cable was protected by an RCD else this could of been a different story. All you budding moles be careful out there.

Was surprised myself... never thought this would have gone through (damage under the tape). Of all the wires to hit.... the brown one.

Thanks to @Paul for putting stainless steel ramp flaps on my red AFM ramps, including the removal of the thinner & more flimsy blue flaps first.

They look awesome now and hopefully should spur my AFM restore back into action.

Thank you Paul @Mfresh for making me and Yoshi feel very welcome at your country pad, for a very enjoyable afternoon playing on your 4 wonderful pinball machines (and that piece of crap Roadshow)

Thanks Dan, great time yesterday. Got to put my name on 3 machines which is a good result for me. Loved the look on your face when Mr A strolled in and 1 game later took Grand Champion on your TOTAN.

Thanks for sorting it all out and sorry I scarpered earlier than planned but I had visions of being stranded in West London after those good people at Network rail decided to play more silly games with your station.

I can also confirm that your little dog is the hairiest on the planet (Which I would also like to clarify isn't a euphemism)

How's the hangover?

Thanks @cooldan for a wicked night of pinball on your awesome collection.
Game of the night for me was POTC. Also loved sopranos. And the obvious TOTAN and MM.
Nice to catch up with @Calimori and @johnwhitfield and @skweek and a pleasure to meet Pavlov pinballs very own @Mfresh

Matt still whooped our butts with a slight distraction

Aww gutted I couldn't make it. Me coughing myself to death on Dan's floor would have been an inconvenience for everyone. Next time!

Indeed, great fun. Good to see a living room sacrificed to pinball. Once the rabble the room to us four, we got a good few hours on each machine.
POTC impressed me, it will be added to my want list.
I will arrange one at mine.

Andy Foster singing "Pinball Wizard" that's going to haunt me for a long time to come.
Cheers Aidie, great day and thanks to Moose the chef who looked after the BBQ. Cracking sausages and burgers and chicken.
Big thanks to Mrs Hufton who took the role of a caterers with the amount of food on offer.
And a big thanks to Mrs Moose who kept the cups of tea flowing.

Big thanks to everyone for a great meet today. Special thanks to Poibug for fixing r&b. EPROM goosed clay? I don't think so.
