Wanted Tales of the arabian nights, TOTAN

Totan is an amazing game and I am so lucky that I managed to find one, even though it was in pieces.

Totan Restoration

This is how it turned out 😃

The 90's was an amazing era for Pinball with Bally/Williams delivering so many amazing games for the time, but I also agree with Vee that we are in an incredible era for pinball right now with so many great games being released in the last 5 years or so.

The deeper rule sets of modern games are more geared towards home use and keeping people's attention for longer.
Back in the day it was about getting people to drop as many coins in as possible. It not really a fair comparison. Both era's of pins are equally fun to play and present different challenges.

I can only echo what the other old codgers said.

Incredible games at the time and they were everywhere. I was in my early 20's and remember a Totan in a boozer in Bermondsey.

We used to drive down to Dorset to see mum and stop at Fleet services on the M3 and play pinball (I think every service station had pins back then).

Down to Bournemouth via Boscombe Pier for even more pinball then off to Wimborne which even had a pinball machine in the chippy and three of the boozers had machines at the time.

There was genuine anger in The Albion in Wimborne when they swapped Addams for Street Fighter,🤣.

Proper nostalgia and very hard to convey quite how common it was to see a pinball machine.

Loved @Asiapinball story.

I'd get a TOTAN remake as long as it was true to the original with mechs etc.

Maybe it doesn't have the code of a modern game but it's engaging and there are plenty of deeper ruleset machines which don't offer that most basic thing.
